You continue to bring up some very good points Levendi; thanks again for responding to my question earlier,(on a different post).  The friend I mentioned is still in the process of getting started; I will relay the info to her.  As I mentioned, she plans on having a couple of providers work for her....If they turn out to be great providers, I wouldn't mind e mailing you the details as a favor in return; they are asian providers. Once again, she is wanting to be very discreet.  In a nut shell, what is the BEST way to deal with a client??  It seems to me that either way you see it, LE can bust a provider.  If no money is exchanged prior to the service, can they still be arrested?  If this was your business, how would you do it?

For the lawyers out there, is it illegal for the LE to remove his clothes in California?

I really could use some input here.

will believe THEM. I know this from first hand experience even from traffic court. One of the worst things I have heard from several providers is, the guy comes to them, has sex with them multiple times over multiple visits, develops a friendship, and THEN for some bizarre reason at that point busts the girl. It's even worse that way as their trust is violated. One gal told me she felt like she had been raped. AND the she told the judge, they all did, and they judge just ignored it. I've heard of this several times from different people over many years, so I tend to believe its true.
You might check some of the well known sex industry support sites like Coyote, etc., they will tell you more.

Good question Christie!! It is not illegal for LE to take clothes off IF the purpose of the removal is to aid in arresting the perpetrator of the crime (i.e. the provider).  If LE goes further and participates in a sexual act, then LE is engaging in the same conduct as the provider (i.e. sex for money).  This is where police reports are somewhat incomplete because we know for a fact that LE, in some cases, actually participates in the sex and then lies about it or omits it from the report (Duh!!!). Who's to know otherwise?  Think the jury, judge, or prosecutor is going to believe the provider.  That's what makes their conduct so sleazy.  They arrest the provider for breaking the same law that they (LE) have taken an oath to uphold.  If you look at some of the LE training bulletins, the preferred procedure is the non-removal of clothes.  Some prosecutors will not file the case if they believe for an instant that LE has participated in the offense.  Hard to convince a jury that something isn't quite kosher when LE has taken clothes off.  That's why it's a good idea to not do outcall in hotels because LE has everything wired and usually takes pictures of the provider in the buff.  That's why it's a good idea for providers to network and work off referrals rather than take new business without a thorough screening.  Once the new business is established without incident it becomes old business and, therefore, more trustworthy.  Stay safe Christy, levendi

Well David, we have now come to a point where I am being asked to give advice on how to violate the law, and that it a line that I am unable to cross.  I know very well that our LE friends are out there monitoring this board.  I can respond to hypotheticals and analyze the consequences of the hypotheticals but I cannot advise you as to how to actually conduct a transaction involving sex for money.  Sorry, levendi

The best thing is the avoid ending up in the same room or even the same building as LE.  COPS will LIE.  Once she is in their hands, there is a reasonable chance that she will be busted, independent of what she does. COPS will LIE.  The cops know most courts will be believe a cops lie over a provider, so if they went to the expense of setting up a sting, the cops are VERY motivated to make the bust even if no law was broken.

The best thing is avoid situation that sound fishy (especially anything in OC, Beverly Hills or Long Beach) and ALWAYS listen to you gut reaction.  Also remeber any thing that sounds to good to be true is probably bad news.

Law enforcement can take their clothes off, but it's less common.

If it is a female undercover, trying to bust a male john, clothes coming off has got to be EXTREMELY rare.  The majority of undercover females are actual cops who the male cops recruit into being the "bait" because she's the best looking girl on the force.  She's not going to be excited about taking her clothes off, knowing that all her co-workers are in the next room watching/videotaping the entire ordeal.  If by some chance, the cops get a real hooker to work a deal and help them bust johns, they maybe she would strip, but that's pretty unusual.  Usually the cops would only work a real hooker to bust the madam, not a john.

If it is a male cop trying to bust a female, yes, they probably would take off their clothes.  Shirts for sure, even pants. I've heard of the undercover john stripping totally nude.  Sometimes, these undercover johns aren't even cops, they are friends of the cop or someone who works with the cops but isn't really a real police officer.  They are getting paid to trap the provider.

Cops usually won't lie in a case like this, because 99% of the time everything is being taped.  So how do they lie.. it's on video.  The bottom line is that most (not all, but many of the providers who get busted make a mistake and say/do things that they shouldn't have.

Cops don't catch the smart ones.

Christy, respond to this message if you want further info. I'll give you an offsite anonymous email and I can give you further "legal advice".  Without telling you what I do, let's just say that I know what I"m talking about...    :)
