I hate reading this. I'm planning a trip to Arizona next month, and I'm new in the hobby. And I have a couple of appointments set up. Should I be worried? They're with considerably reviewed (and well reviewed) providers. I am looking forward to this so much, I wonder if the providers are pulling back, too?
Yep, that's all we need, LE taking care of all this "crime." Get a life, people. Anyway, any words of encouragement for me?
Glad there's no real crime in AZ for these guys to solve.
The link's in a box about halfway down the article.
Can you imagine how much safer AZ is now that all of these people have been taken off the streets? Air travel may become more dangerous though if pilots can't get some during layovers. It's scary to think what an overly frustrated horny pilot might do in the COCKpit...

"He said prostitution, which some consider a victimless crime, brings in diseases, crime, guns, drugs and domestic violence."
Ya know, i usually just pass over this kinda crap, but i have to say that pretty damn tired of reading this shit in every article. Someone in LE needs to get off thier ass and make up a new reason. I mean come on, enough is enough!!
Sorry everyone, it's been a bad day and i just needed to let that out.
Snow.

"He said prostitution, which some consider a victimless crime, brings in diseases, crime, guns, drugs and domestic violence."
The sad part about this is that he can say it without challenge even from the media. It doesn't have to be true, correct, accurate or relevant. He says it, they print it, ignorant people read it and believe it, so it must be so.
What would have been great is for the "unbiased" reporters to have done some research to determine any correlation, and then make him defend his statement.
"One man ... wondered whether being in a wheelchair was a deal-breaker"
Thanks, AZ LE, for taking this menace to society off the streets. Nice to see that you are so dedicated to serving the public interest.
I wonder if Sheriff Arpaio realizes the significance of his statement "We're a full-service law enforcement agency." Did he deliberately use the term "full-service?"
$125 tricks? I need to go there. I didn't know it was possible to get it that cheap any more.
A soldier just returned from Iraq gets a break and is warned to stay away, so he won't get busted? I know what line I'm going to use the next time I call to set up an appointment.
Cops are usually guys who couldn't get into any good criminal groups- cuz they were such ass-holes
Spoken as a former professional chemical salesman!
"....Women arrested on suspicion of running houses of prostitution face felony charges. Men arrested on suspicion of soliciting sex face misdemeanor charges."
Why the double standard ???
Because we need sex more than providers need money! (a joke son...)....
Placebo, The article said that women busted for prostitution were charged with a misdermeanor. The women RUNNING a house of prostitution were given the felony charge. nO DOUBLE STANDARD.

If you've set up appointments with well-reviewed independents (ESPECIALLY if the reviews don't come from guys with no OTHER reviews, and even MORE especially if the reviewers include guys you recognize from reading here) you have no LE concerns. It's the lady who's taking the risk seeing new people.
I feel so badly for all these people involved, and the writing is so sensationalistic. So what if pilots and other professionals need a release now and then, they aren't evil, and certainly no more deserving of such treatment than a soldier! I of course don't think anyone should have been picked on, but to suggest that a soldier stay away b/c he doesn't deserve it makes no sense whatsoever! The whole thing doesn't make sense. The "bizarre" requests noted aren't anywhere near as bizarre as the idea of "cleaning up" AZ with a sting that only serves to waste time and resources. Glad I don't pay taxes in AZ, I'd be seething.
They need to do something more productive like find missing children or solve unsolved crimes.

The operation went after the $125 local paper advertising ladies; their mugshots can be seen at http://www.mcso.org/submenu.asp?file=MugIndex and none of them look at all like the ladies we know from here; but I'm not sure as the pictures are not especially flattering.

LE targeted Phoenix women who had newspaper ads (not internet ads), and offered incall in their own homes.
Most providers of my acquaintance do not have incall in their own homes for reasons of security and privacy.....now, it makes it an even worse idea since in Phoenix you can be arrested for a felony (for having or operating a house of prostitution).
Thanks for asking, Sedona.
I'm okay and being extra careful right now. Is everyone else doing okay? I'm concerned about our ladies in this business and our clients. Why doesn't LE leave us the heck alone? They need to concentrate on child molesters, rapists, murderers, abusiveness and so on.
Hugs,
Ciara
for your Az TER buddies. You are a Real Sweetheart!
I'm just fine and wasn't affected by the busts here.
