In a post below, many talked about checking at place of employment. What do you do if the prospective client does not have a place of employment? [ex. retired or informally self-employed]Also, why is client age reqired by some. Why isn't a "close" number ok? ex. 40's or 50's etc. My experience says that some providers make judgments about age that are not necessarily valid and these judgements adversly affect the session. The dob on my driver's license is not even a close predictor of my appearance or performance, but I know that I have been prejudged when I have given this info.in advance.
well in my experience I prefer older men. If I ask it is because the voice seems very young and I do not see men under the age of 30. I use to think it was because of maturity however that is not the case........ I have always loved and been attracted to older men( I had a wonderful father so that is not why!) I am just attracted to older men!!!!
I also ask profession related questions. If they are say an electrical engineer I'll ask something like what is Plank's constant. If they are a doctor I will ask about partial pressure volumes of lung capacity, or acid base chemistry. Even if you are retired, there is something that I can deduce about you that will make me feel comfortable about you. Publications, old newspaper articles, you name it. Retired people still have knowledge of what they worked with. As far as old people go: there is plenty of spunk in your spunk. I always have a good time.
as a retired Electrical Engineer I couldn't tell you Planks constant. However I like Eulers Identity questions or maybe Maxwells equations of why propetual motion is impossible.
a) proving who you are, and b)proving who you aren't
That can be done in other ways. Age? I might only ask conversationally, but otherwise, I don't care except when they are too young (immature). I've seen gentlemen in their late seventies..
age should not be a factor for a provider to see a client. However, isn't it funny that we're asked quite a bit about our age, even though we have pictures that show hobbyists what we look like. Some of us that are twenty look forty and some of us that are 40 look 30. Hmm! That could stir up a lot of interesting points, possibly on another thread. Never mind.
