I'm not talking about a direct cut and paste from a lady's email client. I was thinking more along the lines of situational audacity and/or humor. Look at the stuff that Staff posts on the TER Mail Bag board, but imagine it being posted by the ladies. You're not going to necessarily see the day-to-day minor annoyances, but most likely the stuff that really drives them crazy. I like to think I was given at least a modicum of common sense (I wouldn't have sent the EMail of the Week for instance), but I'd certainly like to know if I was doing something that irritated someone.
Yes, there is a chance that if you send a bone-headed email to a girl that you're going to end up on the "Wall of Shame". However, your example may keep others from making the same mistake. It could also happen that other women come to the defense of the sender rather than the receiver (as they did on the E-mail of the Week thread below).
As far as mistakes go, these women already deal with your home and/or work number, your first and last name, and any other personal information they use for screening. The women that I see contributing to this site really seem to have their act together and are probably more careful with this information than are your friends.
While reading/responding to the "E-mail of the Week" thread below, it occured to me that most, if not all, of the women who frequent this site must have some correspondence stories that would far surpass the mail/correspondence TER gets in terms of sheer audacity and/or humor.
So, what do you think about a board where these gems could be shared with the community? Or does "Erotic Humor" already cover this? :^)
The thought of encouraging the disclosure of email content somehow doesn't sit well. We expect this stuff to be private, correct? While most ladies may be able to edit or modify the content enough to be appropriate, undoubtably there will be mistakes made, the wrong info will slip out, etc. Could be a bad idea.
at least give us ladies the benefit of a doubt. I can see TER having a board, just for us ladies, with a moderator who overseas everything we post. I have spoken with numerous ladies back channel, and every once in a while, a discussion board is brought up. I dont'see it a bad idea at all
Mel
Addendum: where did the disclosure of emails come up into this? I can see your point about emails, for that shouldn't happen on any of the boards on TER. But, a girl's discussion board, would give us ladies to chat to another from a woman's perspective. Also, it would benefit you men, to see different views on how a woman thinks (I am assuming, that if one to be implemented, it would be a public board, just like this one, for all to enter, but strictly geared towards the provider to post on). Also, alot of us ladies are also paying members of TER (which I am), and it would be something good to have something geared towards the ladies in a positive way

I am always interested in what ladies think. Like every other guy, I will live in dread of one of my stupidities showing up, but I think it is worth the risk..Harry
I highly doubt that the smarter ladies would get involved in this....since discretion is a very important aspect to their profession. And since many will see the emails ( no matter how stupid or funny) and the providers who post them as being non discreet and will pass them by.,
While on the surface, it might be fun and interesting to see the emails, I can tell you from experience (from another ladies board) where some idiot providers were upset about an email and included the email address of the guy as well as the content.
I think in general the ladies who post here on the national board are too experienced and discreet to violate privacy, but you just never know about some of the others.
