I have run into this situation before, especially when a lady runs a special.  What I do is put it in a way that doesn't make them say a price.  For example, on a special I will ask if the special rate applys.  In your case, I would have said I saw you at www.xxx and would like to see you for x hours.  This way she will know where you saw the rate.  If you really felt the need to verify then maybe you could word your question in a way that she can reply with a yes or no.

I don't think what you did was terrible but we don't know her situation.  I can't really put her at fault either.

I would say you phrased your email question well enough. Her reply should have been along the lines of "I am sorry for the confusion, please provide the rate listed at ..." The reason you never heard back is probably the same as why there are three different rates floating about: lack of organization.

First off, the rate listed on the TER profile should never be relied upon.  That information is submitted by the first guy to provide a review, and he might have been smoking nine different kinds of crack when he wrote that review.  Treat it like any other piece of info listed there, and verify it with her website, or with her personally.

Second, a bump of $.5 is significant -- I'd suspect that the high rate was a touring rate or the low number was some some sort of special. I'd have probably gone with whatever rate was listed on whatever seemed more like a personal site -- in other words, not an Eros ad, or anything like that.

Finally, though, it sounds like she's spooked about you being a sting of some kind. I know many ladies refuse to discuss anything about donations, instead referring you to their websites, but that's a legitimate question (assuming that she authorized both sites -- some unscrupulous malls will snag listings from other sites and never change any data). As long as it was phrased something like, "I was unclear which site listed the correct information about you -- was it Site X, or Site Y?", I'd think it is incumbent on her to answer that question. If she can't (or won't), I think you've just dodged a bullet by missing an appointment with a very non-professional lady.
