Do any of you out there feel reluctant to post a bad review or even a review at all with providers that are not up to what they advertised because they have so much of your personal information during the screening process? I know that they also follow their own reviews on TER. I have concerns that they can damage your private and profesional life if they don't like what they read. They can do it if they really want to. Maybe I am too paranoid, but this has prevented me from posting a few bad providers. This feeling really goes against what TER is about.
get some balls
1. Wait some time (you have up to 3 months), making it difficult for her to remember you.
2. Don't write anything too specific or memorable that identifies you.
3. Be honest but not mean or rude
4. Say "maybe it was a bad day" and YMMV alot.

Just do it. For the benefit of all the providers that do fantastic work, and all the ones that actually just go through the paces, do the right thing and post the bad review. No really. Save a brother from a bad trip man. Punish the inept.
This is your erect penis. This is your erect penis with a bad provider. Any questions?
Friends don't let friends have bad sex.
But after reading some of the comments on this thread I laughed so hard I totally forgot about my day. You people really crack me up. It really feels good to laugh out loud.
Quite some time ago I did have a negative experience with pressure from a provider to pull a so-so review.
One of the reasons that I am selective as to what info I give out. I NEVER give out my work number for any reason. If they require it I see someone else.
Regarding having a bad experience, even the best of people have a tough day. Sometimes YMMV.
That's almost as good as "Friends don't let friends sleep alone".
Your paranoia is misplaced. Providers may have your personal information but you have the POWER of TER. Being "outed" on TER for disclosing personal information about a cilent in response to a negative review would be professional suicide for a provider especially one that cares about her TER reviews. There are numerous bad reviews on TER and I have never seen a post about a provider willfully going after a client in the way you indicated. The typical provider response is an attempt to discount the review as a aberration or a fraudulent one.
I'm often surprised that ladies know who the guys are behind the handles that post reviews. I don't know if they guys tell them their board name or they piece it together, probably both.
I wouldn't worry about her doing anything with your personal info unless your review is a bunch of lies designed to intentionally hurt her for some reason. (stranger things have happened!)
The worst that could happen is she may black ball you and not want to see you again, and/or not give you a reference to another provider.
But if it's the truth, you shouldn't worry about posting it.
If the lady gets a negative review from me (and there are only 2), I'm not going back anyhow. Plenty of fish in the sea.
You are not out-of-place for having such concerns. Blackmail is out there in the real world! You give too much personal info and that stuff can come back to haunt you!
The good thing is that when I make a bad review (and I have), I'm not returning anyway. And it's my policy to move on if a provider just asks for too much info.
Believe me, some providers have even commented about their reviews when I go for a return visit. As a matter of principle, I never compromise my reviews.
I know this one provider who is exemplary and has good reviews. (If you're reading this, please note I am keeping your name confidential and I just need to make this point to all the peeps out there, you understand.)
Some guy called her for an outcall. She got some personal info -- all his phone numbers, where he works, etc. Well, when they met at his door, the guy tried to short-change her since he said he only had half the money. (He could be truthful.)
She was understandably upset. She travelled far for the appointment. So she refused the service and left. Justifiably so.
But lo and behold. Is she entitled to compensation for her trip? Perhaps.
In any case, her "driver" heard the story and phoned the hobbyist. Told him the provider lost time and money for this trip. He's obviously security, the "enforcer", and he told the hobbyist he'd better pay a hundred bucks for the trouble or he would get f**ked up. And believe me, this guy would do it. Home girl (the provider) is connected and would have this guy hurt big-time. Believe that.
There are a lot of lessons to be learned here. But one thing that struck me is if a hobbyist gives too much info, there's a bunch of people who can track you down besides LE!
If you do homework, you should always stay away from providers that you will have to write bad reviews for. If you do not do homework and try someone that has bad reviews or no reviews, then she probaly sees enough people that she would have a hard time figuring out who you were, unless you give your TER handle with the other personal information.
Simple, the previous reviews were bad in that they did not provide the truth. I have agonized for over a month about writing a review on a provider. Previous reviews showed her as "attractive", I found that to be a stretch of the imagination, her pictures looked far better than she. Previous reviews showed a "hot time" or "I forgot it was a service", to me, I was bored and hoping the time would get over.
I have had two other similar situations. I haven't posted reviews because I have decided my standards are higher than the average joes or the average joe does not want to admit he just made it with coyote ugly.
especially if you are married or have a high-profile job.
Speaking for US Ladies, if you are worried that someone could have some personal info on you and that would make you reluctant to post a review, why did you give that kind of info to that person? I've had some "negative" reviews done before, and all I did was talk to the person that wrote it. I would NEVER go into a person's private life to wreak havoc.
Here's a little advice: Don't give personal info of any kind to anyone, especially from the hobby!
Oh boy! Be careful on this one MrAnderson these people can be so honest yet take a thread like this and cause you unbelievable problems. I recently touched on this subject but from a different angle and for my efforts took a tremendous loss because of total misunderstansings that came about. I have no one to blame but myself and accepted full responsibility for my own stupidity yet caused some damage to myself and others that was not my intentions at all. I hope that whom ever you are referring to in this doesn't read the boards or doesn't have any friends that do because it can be disasterous. Hindsight is 20/20, once you click send it's done and the problems that can arise are ones you never even consider or believe can happen when they do. What I did was one of the most thoughtless acts I have ever done and will regret for probably the rest of my life. Good luck and be smarter that I have been.
