I read all my contracts and my rights to the photos. I just thought that was weird.  He is a known photographer in Los Angeles for adult entertainment. I can only ask around to see if he is correct. Thanks Nicole!!! Your a great asset for sure!

At a recent photo shoot my photographer told me that you are not allowed to touch your breasts on the internet. Has anyone else know of this?

Have you looked at one of the zillion porn sites out there lately? :) I think this is ludicrous. I've been working in internet porn for five years now and the most I've ever heard that I felt was the slightest legit, is that it is risky to show *ILLEGAL ACTS*, ie: bestiality, minors under 18 years old, or anything that *appears to be* rape.  But touching yourself? Not illegal on or off the internet, cannot imagine how that would be enforced! "Maam, we sentence you to jail for touching your own breasts?" WTF??? LOL!

I'm sorry that just seems so silly to me! Don't believe everything you hear! I do not know why he would have told you this.  And a few other tidbits about photographers... I don't know what you did in this case, but always ensure when hiring a photographer that the contract you sign states that the photographs and negatives belong to YOU and only to YOU.  Many standard model releases release your rights to photographs taken of you, to the photographer for all eternity... ie: a photographer with a model release like that in hand could theoretically do ANYTHING they want to with your photos.  So always read the contract! Personally I take my photos myself with a timer... thus no problems, and I can do whatever I choose in my photos.. maybe that guy was just uncomfy with you touching your breasts? I don't know!

I gotta agree with Nicole on this. Your "adult entertainment" photographer sounds like he's a few fries short of a happy meal. If he is well known in the adult entertainment industry, I have to wonder what is adult entertainment.

Rose,

Good to talk about it here.  This could actually become quite a thread exchanging stories :-)

Have had  strip club owners tell me dont touch this or that when in front of this line onstage, and yes, then there are those rules in filming bondage and sex, but in this arena, well let's say that you know that  different photographers  have different fetishes as well as different aversions. My contributions strictly about my related experiences with photographers...for fact and whatever entertainment value they might be lucky to hold...

For a while I used a photographer who could, but for a fixation with breasts, photograph anything beautifully. (Let me know if you want a referral to him! just kidding) I, being the lucky lady, teasingly told him that when photographing near nekkid ladies, he needs to "expand" his repertoire a bit...we needed OTHER than just breast shots for my site, (really!) Actually he is a great photographer and a lot of fun but I suppose he was needing some visual entertainment/relief THAT night.  But then all 3 other photosessions when I needed other things ... he'd always HAVE to get in those compulsory "breast test shots"!   I really found it endearing on him, but for the fact that I needed the other work done!  Of course, I moved on. No harm done, really, i have but more breast shots than i can ever use, lol.

While in the "rags" for a brief while before my internet foray, I was once solicited by a prospective client who was a photographer and wanted to "barter" but had a fetish for heavy muscular calves.  My advertising photos (before my internet excusion) had no reason to show calves, but when I told him that, Whoops, mine are muscular and welldeveloped but scarce on the meat.  He slammed the phone right down on my fine ass.  Had to have those calves, or NO BANANA!

There are sites that warn models of certain photographers, believe it or not, much like these review boards...but God help us keep track.  sounds like yours was a mild mannered shy one trying to feed you a line, just like all the "playboy photographers" and myriad of "movie producers" we ladies meet in Southern California!!

xoxo

I have been doing several Digital photo shoots for  several sites of  providers, and have never heard of "not touching this....not touching that"... after all, this IS the internet .Furthermore, another reason for  agreeing to the "Over Legal age to View" disclaimer before entering a site."  FH

wanna be a photgrapher. Unless you told him you were posing for a PG rated site, he is out to lunch. The only thing to keep you from letting your fingers do the walking would be the ratings board if and only if you were trying to get a lesser than R rating for your web rating. Just short of: blood, full four point restraints, true fisting, bestiality and of coarse the CandyMan Pedofile act, you can do as you choose. Obsenity laws are local and vary greatly from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. But the day I can't post a photo on the interent of a beauty manipulating her own breasts, is the day I am ready to find the next part of my journey. No joke. Get a new photographer!
