Quit worrying unless you have a symptom like a sore or rash on your mouth or lips. You can aquire some STD's orally, herpes and gonorrhea come to mind, but it is difficult. Your mouth is a pretty hostile enviorment. If your provider had a rash or sore on her lips or mouth, I doubt if you would be French kissing her. If you have any symptoms, get treatment right away. AID's is almost impossible to aquire orally.

I was a first timer this evening.  However, concerned, even though I may not be.

Evening was "protected" in every way.  However, we engaged got into kissing mouth to mouth and then spontaneously started french.

Should I get tested for anything, STD's?  Will kissing cause anything?

Please advise.

You can pass diseases by kissing. Any exchange of bodily fluids can pass disease (ever hear of Mono or Herpes). Your relative risk however is low because most of your activity was covered.

If you are worried, get tested.
