Do most guys find a provider and see her exclusively, or are there more guys that see someone once or twice then move on?  Maybe there are guys that see a certain provider once a month, and other providers "on the side".  I guess I'm looking to see if it's unusual that I dont seem interested in seeing someone regularly, and how that may or may not affect my hobbying experience.

who I would want to see on a regular basis (once or twice a month) while I continue to see others.

for years on end is not really a hooker/hobbyist relationship...more like a marriage or SD/SB type deal. Many guys have an ATF they see more than others, but they still see other providers.

I see about 5-6 local providers over the course of two to three months regularly, but then I see a bunch of traveling gals, and always try to meet at least 6 new gals each year.

Mixing it up that way keeps it interesting.

When I click on MT's thread above about not going out if you are sick, I end up on this thread instead.

If you absolutely NEED to see providers or clients when your sick at least make up a story as to why they should think twice about kissing you.  Tell them you don't DFK or something.  Normally if she's sneezing and coughing, when I arrive, it's a simple fix.  I'll usually say something like, "sorry to visit you when you are ill, here's $100 go by some cough drops and we'll catch up next time".  This time, it wasn't so obvious.

As I'm getting out of the shower at a provider's place I see an empty DayQuil box on the top of the trash can and dropped an f-bomb under my breath.  A couple of days later I've got a sore throat.  Not saying it was her, but I didn't have too many other tongues down my throat. Notwithstanding the fact I wash my hands all the time, get my flu shot eat well and take my vitamins I'm out of the game for a week sucking on ColdEeze and Chloraseptic drops.

Forgive me if I sound a bit pissy, but I seem to be coming down with something.

To heck with the flu, get her STD testing results.  Why doesn't any hobbyist mention a problem with getting a STD in an updated review?

If I end up developing a relationship with a provider, exclusivity tends to be the case, but it usually isn't exclusive, because she is still seeing other clients.

A lovely head cold (courtesy of a guest who I noticed sniffling after he'd already been generously sharing his germs for a few hours well into a long appointment- his response when I noticed?  "I'm not contagious! I was sick last week!") and a round of Strep throat.

I haven't been sick in a few years, but being sick twice in two months has me in full on panic as a GFE provider.

I wish that clients and providers alike would just have the courtesy of sitting out.
What people don't understand is their lack of courtesy costs one another greatly.
I caught the flu from a client in 2007 (again, sniffling- "I'm not contagious anymore") and lost *thousands* laying in a hotel room for seven days.

The lack of courtesy vexes me and makes me wonder about how vigilant these sorts of clients are about their sexual health.

If you're sick please be considerate and don't take a chance on infecting another person.  Take a few days off, rest, take your fluids, take your antibiotics if prescribed for the full course and return when the doctor has deemed you no longer contagious- not when you've guesstimated so that you won't lose that appointment or opportunity for playtime.

I have a terribly low tolerance for pain- I cry like a punk ass bitch when I'm pinched.  Laying in bed sick, crying in a doctors office waiting to be seen sick (as I was a couple of weeks ago) all the while knowing that someone saw me KNOWING they were just sick and chose to gamble with my health hurts me deeply.

I'm so glad you posted this.  I asked on the PO board "what's a GFE provider to do?" and I'm really glad at least one client is speaking up about the atrocious behavior of keeping appointments when you've been ill.

I suppose after two times times you have two new references to use.

will reach out to said client and offer him a discount just to keep him from seeing another provider. Too much hooker drama for me. I don't need to see that many people and most times, I can't so no problems providing refs to whomever requests them. I give away more money than I make most months, but I am gonna fix that when I can cure my TER addiction.

being comfortable with each other and anticipating the needs and wants of each other works out much more better than playing the field.
