If, as Louie Armstrong said when asked about the meaning of jazz, you have to ask, you'll never know.
they're usually on their website. perfume, champagne, decent wine, lingerie. Those are good starters.
There are some men who do tip an extra 20, and a few times, I've had 100 dollar tips, as well. Although, I never require a tip of any kind, it's the thought of them taking the time out to give me one, is the best feeling ever. It means that I am appreciated
I've had some clients who brought me candles (love the scented ones, the best), and gift certificates to resturants. My special gift that I remember getting, was a very beautiful black camisole top (along with a scented candle set that he brought for me, as well- which I stil have, btw!
, that one of my clients gave me (yes, I still remember ya, "C"), and I always treasured that one the best
Just go with your instincts, and if you are not 100% sure, always ask the provider, herself
Good luck!

Mel...I think he meant tips from the Indy's to the hobbyist.
Regards,
VR
Since he asked...I usually appreciate an extra half hour (freebie of course).... then share a smoke, a drink, and a shower...a hug and a DFK...and then I'm on my way.
Cheers!
Well, at least I had started a different discussion then
lol
Mel..wink winky wink
But I accidentally dropped it in the sheep dip and it killed the ticks!
Scented candles seem to be the standard type of gift. Many provider use them, and it's tanatamount to defraying a cost of doing business. It's also a good gift if you don;t have any real personal knowledge of the provider -- sort of a universal gift.
I have bought candles in such instances. In one instance I bought a provider (one I had never seen before) a book set that was on a "wish list" on her web site. She really thought it nice that I took the time to do such a thing. On another occasion I was in a department store woman's department and saw a sweater that I thought would look good on a lady I see on some regular basis. It was Christmas time so I bought it, then made a date with her. She loved it. I am planning a trip in which I will see a provider I have chatted with on-line and spoken with on the phone. She has a rather sensual piercing, and after our discussion of this, I am going to buy her a piece of jewelry to wear, sort of to fulfill a little fantasy. It's the gift that keeps on giving.
All you guys that do take time and get a provider a token or a gift, be it flowers or candles....or waht ever. I aplaud you! I am always so greatful for the small things and yes I always remember a gent who takes the time to do something more out of the ordinary. Do you get special attention.....well your not suposed to, but the truth is yes you do! Weather it is me making sure when you set an appointment I clear my calender just for you, or yes you might get more time or just maybe a little more?
But it means alot to me personaly, and yes I love it, and really appriciate it. So I guess to say to all of you who do take a little time and treat us nice.....THANK YOU!!
It's the fact that they thought to do something at all that is so sweet: candy, flowers, cards, sweet, endearing emails..we just love it all! I think ladies are somewhat easy in that respect with candles, books, candy being sure winners and sort of a 'one size fits all'..
But what about the guys? I sometimes want to give them something, too..first timers visiting SD; repeat clients; someone who's flying across the country to see you - what are 'sure winners' with the men?
A unique local wine would be a nice idea for fellows flying in from other parts of the country. As an example, the San Pasqual Winery down your way produces a Cabernet Sauvignon/Nebbiolo blend. Not something we see every day here in New York.
To me, any gift is more about the thought behind it and the care to make it personal. For Ladies I have had the pleasure of learning a little about, I always try to find something that is tailored to their preferences, be it a type of music, a collection they have, a book by a particular author, or something farther a field that I know they enjoy because she mentioned it at a previous meeting.
Concerning things I receive, the same is true. Anything that shows it was selected for ME, regardless of cost or what it is, is always the best kind of gift. The most memorable gift I have received from a Lady was a pair of tickets to a concert, along with the prettiest date in the whole place.
The nicest gift I ever received from a provider (it was our second "date") was an invitation. I called to book a 2 hour afternoon appointment and she invited me to come by an hour early so she could make me lunch. It cost her little, but the gesture, to me, was as endearing as it could get.
I guess if I were to hit it off with a provider and she wanted to give me any little thing to remember her by, it would be appreciated. Nothing specific, just a memento.
One more thing, although it's not a gift per se. The thing I dislike most is clock watching. I don't usually overstay my welcome, but if the provider is wise enough to plan her day so that she has time between sessions, so that extra 10 or 15 minutes of saying goodbye or hugging isn't an issue, has been as generous as I would want. Her time, after all, is also a gift of sorts.

get personalized condoms with there name or logo on it?? Autograph the used condom?? The hobbyist could display them like golf balls!!
for the special gal, a half dozen house jacks and some new chrome wheels for the pickup
I've done the candle and stuffed animal bit and always bring along some Vino but your last three items...lol
Hey you never know?...if they open a Home Depot or Auto part store in Midtown Manhattan...maybe but maybe not...
on second thoughts I'll stick to the first couple of items.
Cheers!

all my life. But I do know a lot of them like to shop. A gift certificate to a major department store or mall would be a very good idea.
I don't think I'll ever figure them out but I enjoy their company. Oh well. There should always be some mysteries in life.
