Oil, from petroleum jelly to any sort vegetable or massage oil (such as olive oil), breaks up latex. We're talking destruction of a condom in mere minutes. Oil also has a tendency to allow bacteria to collect and harbor (think yeast and sti's), and can be difficult to entirely wash out of the girlie bits. Ancient India's Ayurvedic crew, kinky as they were, didn't have to deal with latex condoms, modern sti's, or the high carb/processed food diet (the main reason for the higher record of yeast and bv infections) that the present world copes with.
Foods containing sugar from honey to the glycerin in a lot of those flavored and water based lubes, drastically increase possibility of a flora imbalance in a woman-ie, a really, really nasty yeast infection.
I'd avoid the sugar all together but if oil is an absolute must, I'd suggest using latex free condoms to stay safe.
Personally, I love the taste of both men and women, provided the person in question maintains a well hydrated lifestyle (coffee, sodas, and alcohol don't count, boys 
). The previous comment about a good steak is spot on. I'd worry over the guy or girl I'd have to "season." To the OP, try spicing things up with a new skill. If you're struggling to find one, ask a lady to teach you her favorite skill. Trust me, all us ladies have at least a one or two additional goodies hidden in our easter basket, and skills will trump gimmicks any day.
