just had something rather amusing happen today and thought I would share with everyone.
after all the discussion that goes on about LE and legal issues surrounding this hobby, one can be a bit nervous or paranoid when meeting someone for the first time. but imagine my surprise when I show up to my date's incall hotel only to find there is a LE convention taking place in the hotel's ballroom/meeting rooms. since I don't carry a cell phone, I am forced to use the pay phone in the lobby to call and confirm my arrival and get her room #, all the while surrounded by the boys in blue. the line was busy so I had to call back multiple times, constantly worried about who is walking in/out of the restroom door next to me that might hear my conversation. it was needless to say a bit nervewracking, and for no apparent reason as there is no real need for concern as long as I act casual. but once in the privacy of her room we both got a big laugh about what a great choice of time and place. she informed me that many clients had cancelled the day prior, due to the concern of LE presence.
wondered if anyone else had any funny stories and/or close calls that they would be willing to share for our entertainment.

I ended up at a hotel in Detroit a couple of months ago that just happened to be having a police meeting at the same time that a visiting provider and I were visiting this cold and ugly place.
The funny thing is that we both walked into the hotel at the same time. I was trudging into the hotel through the snow when this attractive lady turned and smiled at me as I walked through the door behind her. When she turned around I knew that it was a provider that I had researched as a possible visit if I had time on this trip.
The funny thing was that she and I went down to the restaurant/bar to eat at the same time. We noticed each other and started talking. She proceeded to tell me this story about a legitimate job while the whole time I knew why she was their. I let her go on for a while until we were alone and asked her "aren't you "XXX" from "XXX" agency.
When I said this she turned white as a ghost and asked me if I was going to arrest her. I proceeded to assure her that I wasn't a cop and showed her my ID from across the country. We enjoyed a few drinks but I worked 12-16 hour days while I was in town so we never got together. I did get to walk her up to her room the first night and kiss her goodnight as we were basically neighbors down the hall.
She was probably at the hotel working the convention. The reason her line was busy, was because she was busy servicing the boys in blue. Did you see any trace evidence of Krispy Kreme donuts in her hotel room? Her last LE customer had to leave in a hurry. He was the next scheduled speaker on the serious damage prostitution and other crimes of vice are doing to the moral fabric of this most pious society.
You are lucky it wasn’t a convention of preachers. The provider would have been so busy; you would have never seen her. Not to mention the fact your pocket would have been picked by the holy men of the cloth. Amen Brother
