I recently read a review where fisting was mentioned and that the provider invited the reviewer to post it.

I have been fortunate enough to have been given the opportunity as well, but never have asked and only this once seen it in a review.  I have seen mention of it on only one providers web site.

Is this considered OK in the hobby, or is it just a bit too far out there?

It varies with everyone... what one lady enjoys, another hates, etc... there is no "across the board" rule here that will be applicable. But if a lady is open to fingers... hey you can always try another... she'll tellya if she doesn't like it, I think most of us are pretty outspoken that way! I'd have to say it is.  The main reason I got into the hobby was to fulfill my fantasies of being with really hot women.  I assume fisting is part of some guys (not mine though) fantasies there for it must be.
