I'm just reading a thread on checking with a previous provider before using her for a referance, so I'm posting this rather than hyjack that thread.  
So far I've cleared screening without using a referance.  
I would not use just any provider for a referance...  and I DO hesitate to ask one of my FAV ladies.  I DO have special relationships with them and I AM concerned that it would hurt their feelings.  
Am I alone in this?

You are NOT going to hurt any ladies feelings my dear. Trust me on that. I don't doubt that you have 'special' relationships with them. However, I can without a doubt tell you that they do not look at you as a boyfriend..or any more special than anyone else.  

It's our job to make each gent feel special and desired and adored. Well, those of us that offer GFE that is. If a lady does get her feelings hurt because a gent asks to use her as a ref, she needs to take a few steps back and re-think her place.

So  go ahead and ask....she'll be just fine and I'm quite sure with time will get over the trauma of you cheating on her. ...sorry for the sarcasm....but do you see how silly that sounds?

You may well have special relationships with a couple ladies- you might have great connection, be a really nice client that they enjoy.  I tend to see a small group of ladies that I become closer to by choice.  You may also be just another client that happens to be clean, respectful, nice, pays well, etc.

However!  Any of us- ladies and guys alike that have made the mistake of crossing the line are very boundary conscious- especially the ladies who have had clients "in love" and ended up having to set them straight in some way.

I have found that the ones I feel the closest to and see the most love it when I request references-  keeps them knowing I still have my head on straight!

My best references come from the ladies that I have the best relationships with.  In no way, shape or form do they view this as cheating or being unfaithful.  Remember, it may be fun and get somewhat personal, but it's always a business relationship.

Well, I definately crossed the line with my ATF...  who accomidates occasionally...  When I found myself thinking too much like a BF, I forced myself to take several months off from her.  I've only seen her once since, about a month ago.  
During this interval I have done some dates, got burned, and eventually found another Fav.  I see her as often as I can but she works daily if her ads are any indication.

I have the same dilemma. I'v been seeing one provider exclusively for a while and I would hesitate to ask her such a question for the same reason. If I hurt her felings there goes the good will I've built up with her, remember she's a woman and they are wired different.
