Just how much are we talking about? There's nothing except the physical size of the clips/images preventing you from storing them on anything you want. Anything smaller than about 1.4 MB will fit on a floppy, though that's probably a tedious way to go about it.

If you've got a zip drive, they hold either 100 MB or 250 MB, depending on the model. If you've got a CD burner, they hold somewhere between 650 MB and about 800 MB depending on the type of media you buy.

You can always bury it inside of a deeply nested directory structure. (Assuming MS Windows here) Something like C:\boring\really boring\really really boring\seriously not worth going further\Im not kidding\PORN

If you've got Windows XP, you can set up accounts for each member of the household. Then you can put your stuff inside a folder on your account. Nobody can access it without logging on to your account, which is password protected.

DVD help. I downloaded a bunch of porn to my dekstop. Is there any way to store it on disks until I get my dvd-rw hooked up?

Not true - anybody with administrator privileges can access any folder on the system!  If you are going this route, make sure all other users are "limited" users, and that the built in Adiminstrator account is password protected (by default the password is blank).

I didn't feel like writing 12,000 words in order to give XP user account administration the coverage it needs and deserves. So rich a subject, indeed. I know it would have garned perhaps a thousand hits, but my heart just wasn't in it.

mine is in C:\Windows\System\Win98util

Not too many will venture down there (and you can always make the file folder hidden where you have to type in the address in Windows Explorer to get there (pick something short if you go this route)).

I suggest a removable flash drive.  Small enough to fit on your key chain, plugs into USB port, and they range from about $20 - $100 depending on amount of storage.  For about $100 retail you can get 256MB of storage.  That's a lot of porn.

Many companies make them, and they're at most computer stores.

Here's an example:

I bought mine on EBay for $49 / 256 MB of storage.  Much cheaper than the $100 you'll spend at Best Buy etc.  Serious porn on a keychain.

You can get them now at Costco dirt cheap for some decent space.
