I'm new to the hobby and in my early 50's. I'm wondering whether others near my age feel they get the same level of service from a young provider that a younger hobbist does? I read many reviews and some vary (YMMV), but I can't tell whether a low rating are due to the age of the hobbist or just an off day.

It all depends. I am in my early 50's as well. I don't know how the younger guys are treated, but I do know that I have generally had very good service. Many of these ladies actually prefer us older gentlemen. I think that the way the ladies are treated will determine the level of service.

I don't go for the late teens/early 20's type, because with experience comes an ability to interact and know what the guy wants. Good luck with your hobbying!

I'm 55 and have been a hobbier for 30+ years, on and off (no pun intended).  My experience has been that I'm treated better now than years ago, and I believe there are 3 reasons for this:

1.  I believe that I treat the provider with more respect than I did when I was a younger man.
2.  With the advent of resources like TER and the rest of the Internet to do research before booking someone, I have been more selective, thinking at least as much with my big head as with my small one.

3.  Along with #2 above, the better providers have become more savvy in knowing how to please.  Today's provider, I believe on average, is brighter than when I was younger.  I can't prove it, but I think more of today's providers enjoy what they do for a living as well.

Typically I prefer a provider with some experience and years, like 30+, but my expperience has been across the board, regardless of age.  Relax and enjoy this hobby.

I'm also 57 and find that I too prefer the ladies over 30 or more.  When I've gone with the young 20's I love the looks of those hot young bods, but the performance was just more mechanical.  They lack the experience..not just time-in-the-sack experience, but life experience.  Also I think that ladies in their 30's really like sex better.  

On the other side of the coin, and more directly in answer to your question, from what I've learned from the ladies is that they don't like the younger guys as much either.  I can't speak for them, but I get the feeling it's a maturity issue as well.  It just isn't as much fun when the guy just jumps on, gets off, and leaves.  So we older guys do get better service.

Keep in mind that the major sex organ is between your ears.

interesting and are not in a rush.  We also seem to know how to treat a lady.  Some providers will not even see younger men. So age does matter, the older the better. By the way some older provider rock and roll better then the younger providers, more adventurous and less hang ups. It kind of like the joke:
Two bulls, a young bull and a old bull are grazing on a hill overlooking a meadow where a herd of cows are grazing.  The young bull says to the old bull "why don't we run down there and fuck one of those cows". The old bull responses "why don't we walk down and fuck them all".

Seems like there's a discussion on the politics of age every month.  Last discussion to my knowledge pitted older providers with younger clients.

I'm in my late 20's and tend to see women that are 20 to 30.  The last one I saw was 26 and very popular with many great reviews.  Her reviews stated that she only did CBJ and didn't allow DATY.  Well, lets just say that she attacked me and did all of the above on her own without my asking.  On my way out I asked her why I got special treatment and she said because she thought I was cute and have a nice body.  Earlier she did mention that most of her clients were over 50.  So in this case, being younger got me better service.

I'm 65 and I have had wonderful experiences with providers from 23 to 46. Just do your research and find the ones who enjoy what they do and know how to treat their clients right.

Is age part of chemistry between two people? I dont think so. Age does not matter however in getting to know someone the question is always asked. I almost always ask when I am corresponding prior to meeting a new 'friend'. I ask because it helps me to know what to expect...in general the younger guys are more into the act and arent really concerned about the other aspects such as respect where the older gentlemen tend to be just that...gentlemen. Nothing personal towards you younger guys because I have met some that were really great guys. I think overall what matters the most is how the guy was raised...whether or not he was taught to have respect for a lady regardless of her career choice.
