I'm glad you're not as demanding as it first sounded. And I am only comparing providers to other professionals in the context you brought up - that just because they are in high-risk professionals, that doesn't mean they don't deserve to protect themselves.
Of course providers are motivated by money, so are doctors. And sure some cops want to "serve their fellow man" but it seems to me many others want to dominate their fellow men, shoot stuff, and boss people about. I don't think anyone has a halo over their head.
I'm not an escort, so don't thank me for providing your fantasy. Thank the ladies who do it. Maybe you think providers are motivated solely by money but I think some of them, at least the GOOD ones out there - do enjoy making people feel good. I notice a proliferation of teachers, nurses and psychologists among our providers - all helping professionals. THESE are the women I believe do have altruistic intentions and DO care about pleasing their clients. These are also the women I notice tend to protect their own health the most, probably because they are educated enough to know and assess the risks.
Say what you will about the adult industry: at least they make an effort. I know that Vivid Video, Wicked Pictures, and Zane Entertainment Group have decided to go "condom-only" in porn and some require PCR-DNA tests instead of the old Elisa tests and have upped the testing to once every two weeks from once a month.
When is the last time you visited a provider with your test results (with your real name on it) in hand to help ease her mind? I rest my case!

Hi all, I always looked for the providers that offered BBBJ's because obviously it feels good, but over the past two days have been having a burning sensation after uninating. I saw a provider about a week ago.
Went to the doctor and he took a urine sample and said there are a few white blood cells in the urine so I probably have a bacteria infection. I told him I had received oral sex, and he suggested I may have picked up some bacteria from the girls mouth. (the mouth has alot of bacteria) so he prescribed some antibiotics.
I didnt realize I could catch an infection this way, but now that I think about it, I was stupid for not realizing this.
In any case, I will not take bbbj's any more, condom only.
Anyone else have this problem? I hope it goes away in a few days. I not into the burning sensation on my penis.
I thought I'd post this in the newbie section so people could respond and many could learn from this experience.
There have been plenty of posts in this forum about people getting STDs through bareback oral sex. It would be pretty hard to claim ignorance if you had been reading for a while -- denial is more like it.
Actually, I dont read these boards that much at all. But I guess I should have. Im glad so many have responded to my original post.
I didn't mean to make it sound like I was whining or complaining, but simply my burning johnson has kind of woke me up. Im 35 years old pretty good looking and I think I need to redirect my energies to finding a girlfriend rather than a quickie without the bother.
I've read alot about daty but never have performed that on a provider. seems too risky to me. I may be wrong but I'd never do it to a provider. period.
I agree with the few posts also below about the dudes that visit the ts girls. I dont blame providers at all from protectiong themselves. A guy thats into streetwalkers, ts, and once in a while pays extra for the $$$-$$$$ girl could spread it across the table.
Strangely enough, I went through something similar about ten years ago. I received a BBBJ from a certain dancer that I've been chasing for months. We never did click so a relationship did not result. I continued to see other ladies for the next three months when early one morning, after a prework romp, I noticed a redish tinge in the tip of the condom. Further investigation revealed that the redish color was blood and it was on the INSIDE mixed with my semen.
I ran down to my doctor and after several tests, it was diagnosed as a prostate infection (Key Symptom: Bloody Semen) which in his opinion was sexually transmitted. My only uncovered activity for that entire block of time was that BBBJ.
Two weeks worth of antibiotics cleared-up the infection but left me with a greater appreciation of the risks associated with certain activities.
Be safe and check that condom!!!!!!
Michael of Alaska
they're not supposed to "blow" so the flow ought to be out instead of in. LOL
Correct - "suck you dumb bitch - blow is just a figure of speech"
And what were you complaining about since the minor bacterial infection was diagnosed and taken care of quickly?
I've gotten one infection in 28 years and you want me to give up bbjteoku's?
You fell on your what?
Maybe you love the feel of Goodyear or Michelin, but to each his own. Sure I'll give up bbj, when what freezes over? when the desert sands cover Iceland.
When Dubya learns to pronunciate eleventeen three syllabic words, then I'll give up bbjs.
When Republicans and DOD decision makers decide that American education deserves a budget above that used to bomb idiots on donkees in the Afghan mountains, then I'll give up bbjs.
you can get herpes from several different kinds of "safe sex" contact, even with a condom on.
look at the woman. talk to her and get her vibe. look at her hair, her teeth, her skin, her nails, her pussy. smell her. smell her hair. taste her skin. caress her lips with yours and take a good whiff of her breath. breathe on her pussy and smell it. look at it, and pull the lips back in a tender, gentle way.
yes, you can get a disease from a woman who *looks* clean. but it is easier to get infected from a woman who looks skanky.
use a condom if you want, but use your judgment first. the condom will not protect you from many unhappy things, and if the woman is not skilled in arousing you, she is probably not skilled in cleaning herself up afterwards. which means, you're swimming in the same water as the last guy, and the guy before him ...
Herpes is not a bacteria. And Gonococcus is a normal inhabitant of your mouth (yes, even you), so looking at someone is not going to prevent you from obtaining something nasty from a BJ.
I am probably going to catch a world of shit for saying this, from providers and hobbyists alike, but here we go: I will not see a provider who will not give a BBBJ. What she does with the final product -- swallow, spit, facial -- is her business. But, I'm sorry; when I'm putting out my hard-earned cash, anywhere from $$-$$$-$$$$-$$$$$, the very MINIMUM I expect in return is a BBBJ. The closest analogy I can think of is that receiving oral sex with a condom on is like eating an eight-course meal with a baggie over your tongue; you know you're supposed to be tasting something, but it's just not there! Do I wear a condum for regular sex and Greek? OF COURSE!!!! But, the incidence of STDs with those activities is much higher.
The likelihood of a man catching an infection from receiving oral sex is extremely low. 95% of the risk on the provider, and here we go again. Let me make it perfectly clear that I wish no harm to anyone, and I'm sorry if this sounds misogynistic or hateful because I don't mean it like that at all, but in offering her services and taking my cash, a provider is acknowledging and accepting the possiblitiy of certain risks involved in performing those services. And I'm not talking about ripoffs, robbery, rape, or worse, which are all horrible crimes. There are risks inherent in many different jobs, and if a provider is unwilling to accept those risks associated with hers, however small, she should consider getting out and finding another line of work. Here's another analogy: US foreign policy dictates sending our servicemen and women all over the world to fight all adversaries, both real or imagined, yet we Americans are shocked and outraged when even one soldier makes the ultimate sacrifice (and IMHO, no one should have to). We want to police the world, yet don't want to accept the risks. Providers who are happy to collect huge fees for service, yet try to put extremely limiting conditions on those services, seem to want their cake and eat it, too.
I am always amazed by the provider profiles and reviews I read where it seems like 9 out of 10 answers in the Services Provided section are "No", they won't do or allow this or that, yet hobbyists still rate these providers as 8-10. What's up with that?!?
Sorry about all this, I just found myself in a ranting mood; this is an issue I've thought about for quite awhile...
Ferchrissakes, what's all this boil down to? Keep me happy, give me a BBBJ!!!
daydreamer ... to a point, I'm with you on the bbbj. I found two providers who insist on cbj but I like their personalities and each is tastier than the other. Plus, since they love to have me suck on their delectible toes and K.... can really fuck like the Energizer Bunny while J..... is drop-dead gorgeous, I give them latitude.
Do you eat with your penis? Otherwise your analogy seems off. Believe me I KNOW men don't like to have rubber wrapped around their penis, girls have been hearing the same complaints for years. Of course it's not as fun for you. But there is the matter of safety for both of you.
: Let me make it perfectly clear that I wish no harm to anyone,
: and I'm sorry if this sounds misogynistic or hateful because I
: don't mean it like that at all, but in offering her services
: and taking my cash, a provider is acknowledging and accepting

That is the most sad-ass rationalization I believe I have ever heard. And yes it does sound misogynistic. Better tell that doctor, dentist and medical staff to whip off those gloves when they touch you. After all they CHOSE a profession that puts them in contact with public and their germs. Why should medical staf entering a TB ward wear masks? Why take those precautions? Because they deserve that protection.
Better tell those police and swat officers to whip off the kevlar and protective wear when they're on the job. After all, they CHOSE a profession that puts them in danger of being shot. Why take precautions? Because they deserve that protection.
Better tell those porn actors and actresses to forego the mandatory STD & HIV checks before shooting a scene. After all, they CHOSE a profession that includes exchanging bodily fluids with strangers. Why take precautions? Because they deserve that protection.
Somehow I think that you would find all these precautions to be sensible and prudent but somehow when an escort attempts to protect herself by using condoms or to use some sort of screening practice, everyone complains. The girls that do use condoms for BJs are being extra cautious and that's a good thing. If some girls chose to give BBBJs that is their choice and you have every right to seek those particular girls out, but to say all escorts should be somehow obligated to give them as part of the title of "escort", I'm sorry I don't think that's in the job description.
I've been reading these boards for quite awhile and I see men who see TS "girls" (who are, not to put too fine a point on it - gay male prostitutes - a very high risk group). I see men who visit streetwalkers (who are not exactly in great shape, many are IV drug users - also a very high risk group) Then you have the high volume girls who go through dozens of men per week, sometimes engaging in high risk behaviors with some or all of them. Then there are the men who frequent these girls.
Then we have you, who just wants to go and get his darn BBBJ. But these girls have no way of knowing who you are or what sort of risks you take. YOU might know you're clean; they do not. I know you want your BBBJ and you might even feel you deserve your BBBJ but please don't go in with the attitude you are obligated to get your BBBJ.
As for the money issue, sure you're paying for it, but IMO you should go in and be happy and grateful that your dollars assure you that a pretty girl - a complete stranger to you - is going to take your bare penis in her mouth and suck it with relish until you spill your bodily fluids over her/in her/on her whereupon she will act like she's thrilled about it. Then you'll get to so the most intimate of acts with her/to her in various positions, daty and dfk, all the time acting like hot lovers when in reality you are just strangers. All the time she will act like you're the hottest fuck she's ever had, that your penis is a healthy size, that you smell nice and are attractive. She will make make appreciative noises, chat with you, and give you a nice kiss goodbye. Then you'll get to leave, and if you wish, either see her again or never see her again - your choice - without any repercussions or arguments. No worries about fatal attractions and boiling rabbits, no worries about paternity/palimony or alimony lawsuits, no threats to your happy home life or personal life, not even any unwanted phone calls. Just leave! What a service these girls are providing! Please be grateful and cherish them. Even the ones who "only" do CBJs.
And if that's not worth $$$ I don't know what is.

Well, I knew that there just had to be one person out there who would self-righteously and with great indignation rise up to cut me off at the knees. But hey, you are entitled to your opinion, and I respect that, but I'm also entitled to mine.
Looking back on what I wrote earlier, I admit that perhaps I should've thought it through a little better and not sounded so harsh and demanding. I would never, ever demand or force a provider to do something that she's not comfortable with, but then again, that's the beauty of the TER system; I can look for providers who will offer the services I'm looking for. I never implied in my message that a provider should do certain things to earn the title "escort". That said, I think it's disengenuous and incredibly self-serving of you to compare providers to doctors, dentists, and LE. These people are highly trained and have spent years in school honing their skills and dedicating themselves to helping their fellow man. For you to equate yourself with them is quite a stretch of the imagination; after all, what are most providers motivated by, other than the bottom-line $$$ you're going to make off the next poor slob that walks in? If you think otherwise, you've watched "Pretty Woman" one too many times. There! The kid gloves have come off!
Still, I give providers a lot of credit for having the balls, chutzpah, or whatever, to stay in the business. What you do can be incredibly dangerous. You're going out to meet a strange man, on little more than a few brief e-mail or phone call exchanges. You don't know a thing about him. You may travel to parts of your city or state you're not familiar with. When you get there, he may be a handsome devil in a suit, or a blue-collar worker. You have to worry that you're not being set up by LE. You strip naked and hope he's not going to beat the crap out of you, or worse. And then, you must be intimate with him, hoping he's not going to turn into a psycho, or open up the closet and pull out three or four of his "friends" for some REAL fun. These are very real concerns.
I think I've pretty much summed it up. Makes asking for a BBBJ seem pretty tame and minor in comparison.
Your final paragraph, Vaughn, was the most telling; yes, you're providing a fantasy service, being the responsive GFE we've all wished for. Deep down inside, you may even hate our guts for what you're about to do. I know that your attitude is fake, and that I might not be some hardbody male model type. But still, I appreciate your making the effort. However, it is MY fantasy, and MY dime, and if you won't provide my fantasy, that's your choice, but it's MY choice to frequent someone who will. Many providers are living on the edge and are risk takers to begin with, or else you probably wouldn't be Providing. If you are truly THAT concerned about your personal health and safety, taking into consideration all the other factors that have been discussed here, then I strongly urge you to get out of the life. Money isn't everything, and there are so many other worse things that could happen to you, beyond the relatively low-risk BJ. And keep in mind that I never, EVER advocated unprotected vaginal or anal sex, which are much, much more high risk in comparison.
PS: And DON'T EVEN get me started about porn stars and their HIV-STD tests!!! The adult video world is notorious for being extremely lax and falsifying test results, and there is no law that even says they're obligated to test. And believe me, watch an adult video like Anabolic's "The Gangbang Girl" series, and then tell me that any blood test results aren't totally worthless. If you want to be outraged at anyone, be outraged at the adult video industry that turns out hundreds, thousands of videos yearly, subjecting dozens, even hundreds of young women to incredibly high-risk sexual activities. I mean, would you EVER want to hook up with someone like say, Marc Davis or Peter North, guys that have had bareback anal sex with hundreds of women in their careers?!? Would I EVER want to hook up with any of the women who've been bareback butt-banged by every swingin' dick in the porn world, and who knows how many we don't know about? Not without wearing a radiation suit, LOL! Which is why, BTW, I will never understand the fascination with porn stars exhibited by our brethren on the Porn Star discussion board.
I'm glad you're not as demanding as it first sounded. And I am only comparing providers to other professionals in the context you brought up - that just because they are in high-risk professionals, that doesn't mean they don't deserve to protect themselves.

Thank you for the refreshing exchange of views; there's something catharic about getting on a board and saying exactly what's on your mind, LOL! I'm sorry if I offended you by assuming that you are a provider; I guess I judged the tone and comments you posted incorrectly. Also, please take everything I've said with just the tiniest grain of salt, I'm really not as blustery and demanding as it appears.
Although I will stand by my assessment of the adult video industry. It doesn't matter how many or what type of tests you've had every two weeks; when a star or starlet is out there having multiple partner, extremely high-risk unprotected sex several times a day, week, or month, the risk also grows exponentially. You know the story: that girl is not only getting bb butt-banged by the 5 to 15 guys that day, but she's also assuming the risk of all of the other 10s, 100s or more of partners those guys have had.
You might think my attitude is strange, considering my fondness for BBBJ. But, I will still argue that the risks for both partners is much less than that for unprotected "PSE" sex. You couldn't pay me enough to be intimate with your average porn star, no matter how hot and desirable she might be. That's one notch on my belt I'll never make.
Thanks again for listening.
Thank you! I love any board where these types of inquiries (and gracious replys such as this one)occur. Well said, my friend.

Captain,
What you are talking about it just a natural thing. Everyones body has a nature bacteria count that is specific to only him/her. When that natural balance is upset an infection occurs.
You can get an infection from someone who smells like a rose and that you have been with many times before(ie:wife,GF etc) It is just something that goes with the territory. Most infections are just an over run of the natural bacteria that already lives there. Something as simple as a change in diet can cause a change in your chemistry. Soooo bottom line is that if you like BBBJ's you take your chances. And I agree with the gentleman who said that a condom won't always prevent those infections. A full body condom might be the answer or perhaps a blow-up doll.
I think it is a given that all of us smell our food before we eat it. That is just good sense. If it hasn't been properly prepared you don't eat it!!
We all make choices.
Just Ellen,s opinion (just an old nurse with an attitude)

I know I'm repeating myself, but the subject the health risk of a bbbj keeps cropping up, which is OK I guess. Personally, I've come to the point long ago that for me it's a requirement or I won't see a gal. I won't change anyone's mind no matter what I say on the subject & that's not my reason for posting...it's only to counter-balance the numbers a bit.
But along the lines of oral sex, there is something I wonder about. How many of the guys who say they'd never allow a bbbj would daty (unprotected)? Anything, major or not(in terms of the consquences/cure), that can be transmitted to the guy through a bbbj is more likely to be transmitted through daty...even a common vaginal yeast infection, which a woman can get without any sexual activity.
IMHO any guy who won't go for the bbbj but will daty is exercising caution against the lesser danger. Not trying to change anyone's mind, just offering my opinion & voicing my curiosity.
disclsoure: i am not a doctor and i don't play one on tv. that said, i think the infection mechanisms and infectious bugs are not the same in bbbj and daty, and the risks are not comparable though they are not zero for either act for either partner.
for example, you can more easily see swelling, chafing, broken skin, discharge, chancres or sores on the pudendum than on the inside of the mouth. the smell from the mouth can sometimes come from the stomach, but smell from the kat is the kat straight up. the exterior labia are generally worn dry and are easy to wash, while the back of the molars are eternally wet and almost never scrubbed. saliva on both sides may also be toxic to viral particles.
ladies can get herpes from oral contact, and are almost certain to get yeast infection if the ordering of common language, number 1 and number 2, is not scrupulously respected in the placement of the fingers (that's vagina then anus, never the reverse). i will often wash my face and hands even if i arrive freshly showered.
the host (incall or outcall) usually offers wine or drinks, and should do so, not least because the 6%-20% alcohol can't hurt the cleansing of the mouth.
personally i can do without both bbbj and daty. but i got my first pro bbbj from a delightful minx who apparently chooses covered in other situations, and i was so smitten and silly with her i had to touch, and once touching i had to sniff, and once sniffing i had to tease, and once teasing i had to taste, then tasted a good while and rimmed her to boot.
that was a judgment call. and judgment is always distorted by lust. but once out of my car and rapping at her door, i chose a distorted world for the real one ... and next time i went by, she had freshly showered just for me.
Incase you might not have thought about it but women do get thrush. Its ayeast infecton of the mouth. There are a few ways that they get it. Femals on Female , and Guys who daty on female wont have the oral symptoms as they pass it on . Some women wont even know they have it for quite sometime but if there is alot of oral going on and you are with alot of other providers you can rest assure you might get it too. You might want to ask alot of questions to your're provider like does she do 2 grl shows, multiple partners and how oral is she. If you're answer is shes very oral with everyone that increases your chances. Going once a month for an exam to the local Health Department or Private Dr is so important to so many providers . More should go out of respect for the men who do pay top dollar . They shouldnt have to suffer in the long run. Sorry I had to express myself here . Hoe it helps in the future or atleast helps some people think before they do.
Shopgirl...I THINK you were supporting my opinion on DATY being something the guys should be concerned with...but one I've never heared voiced thus far. If I'm wrong, please feel free to post that effect. I hope anyone who's read my post realizes that I have no medical training, simply that I've done a lot of research & had very frank discussions with my personal physcian.
Like you, drollere...I've never even played one on TV. Now why does that phrasing sound familiar to me? Have perhaps read your posts on another board, or have you posted on this board under another nom-de-plume? Not important...just my curiosity.
BTW--(addressing this to drollere): I was basically asking if those guys who considered a bbbj out of the question...if they happened to not be so concerned with DATY. From your reply, which BTW again, I do appreciate as it opens the topic for discussion up further, I'm not clear in which "camp" you consider yourself? I'm naturally, & geez this should go without saying, talking about either activity--on either side of this little fence--being with someone who shows no signs, including being freshly showered...an absolute requirement! Are there really people who think so little of themselves or the other person who do not do that??!! Thankfully I've never met someone like that & if I ever do, it will end very quickly!
Having said all this, I still "allow" a bbbj more often than I will DATY. That to me is something I only partake in when the gal is someone who I am really into. I say this mainly for the benefit of letting them know publically only to let them know how they made me feel. I know there are some who will consider that attitude a bit old-fashioned or uptight. But so what? Since when am I not entitled? And for those few ladies, at least you know I consider you to be very special.
maybe it will be easier to deal in short statements. these are my opinions, i may be wrong:
1. the overall health risk to the male from bbbj is maybe 10%, and will be some variant of yeast. a few pills will cure it, the discomfort is less than a common cold, and the man wears it in his pants.
2. the overall health risk to the male from daty is maybe 1%, and will be some variant of herpes. no pills will cure it, the discomfort is less than a common cold, and the man wears it on his face.
these are my preferences:
3. i don't request or turn down a bbbj or dfk. oral sex (including dfk) is secondary to establishing rapport and rhythm with the lady, which builds the arousal and emotional tension that makes intercourse gratifying.
4. i rarely perform daty, and i only do it to enhance my own pleasure and to reciprocate the gfe illusion for the minx. i pay attention to her response and i stop when asked or when i feel her pleasure or comfort is less than mine.
5. i let the lady take care of herself and signal her own safety preferences, and i accept them without argument or testing.
I am a nurse and also a provider; I do bbbj's all the time. The infection you got is probably a staphlococci infection related to dental/gum disease rather than a non specific chamydial or gonnorehea infection. While nothing is foolproof, it probably is not a good idea to have bbbj's from other than local providers, well reviewed providers, and probably not while overseas. Peridontal disease is chock full of gram negative bacteria; your result would be non-specific urethra itis(sp?) and antibiotics will fix you up- hope this helps
Thanks for your response fashionmode.
The provider i saw was right here in west los angeles and actually had alot of favorable reviews. I didnt like the way she bbbj'd as it was a weird bending thing she was doing probably was blowing her saliva down the hole of my penis.
I really dont know for sure though but I do know I had a funny feeling after I left that something wasnt right. Probably because it was in a big apartment complex where there seems to be many russian providers that dont speak good english. I almost didnt go because she was hard to understand and when I asked her to repeat room # and bldg letter, she sighed really loud like I was an idiot, when it wasnt my fault she has such a heavy accent.
I don't know what the odds are but a man can get gonnorehea from BBJ's.
Thanks for the info fashionmode. Its not burning as much after 3 days of antibiotics so Im glad about that. Yea it probably was some sort of mouth bacteria. she was blowing me kind of weird, like one guy above said "literally blowing her saliva into me". The girl I saw though did have several positive reviews on this site. I wonder if I go to the bathroom immediately after a session, if that would reduce the possibility even greater.
A late response (I just scanned through the messages, but in the spirit of full disclosure, didn't actually read all of them). But have a few comments for what's it's worth (I've been involved in some of these issues professionally but am unwilling to specify involvement beyond that)
Major issue being discussed is what hobbyists can acquire from BBBJ's.
These are the STD issues and I see them:
a) syphilis. It has been increasing in the MSM community. This is particularly relevant if a provider has a clientele that is bisexual; the chancre is painless and very, very hard to discern. Regard the infectiousness as high. (There is an epidemic of syphilis in England much of which is assumed to result from purely oral transmission).
b) Herpes. Totally unrelated to hygeine. HSV-1 is very common, and can be shed from oral sites without symptoms.(HSV-2 less probable). Realize that cold sores (caused by herpes) can, but don't need to be, overt. Such shedding can cause genital herpes in the hobbyist. (In fact increasing percent of genital herpes appears to be caused by HSV-1, probably secondary to increasingly prevalent oral sex)
c) chlamydia: The provider can have pharyngeal chlamydia (which would typically be asymptomatic and she would have no signs). But absolutely nothing is known about prevalence and probability of transmission given exposure.
D) Gonorrhea: Similar to chlamydia. A providers with phayngeal GC can be expected to have no signs or symptoms. There was a comment that the gonococcus is a normal inhabitant of the phayngx. That is not correct. There are other species of Neisseria that are normally found that laboratorians must take into account. But no info on transmissibility given exposure.
e) HIV: won't comment on. I will just say this is highly unlikely.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
