Twice this week I have heard of people being threatened for either helping Independents getting started or recommending people.  Who are these people making the treats and why?

I don't know..sick and twisted people, I guess?
I don't get it..there's plenty of love to go around, so why isn't that more peoples' goal??

I'd need to know more to have any confidence even in a guess.  Sounds like maybe somebody's boyfriend/pimp/enforcer doesn't like the idea of new competition on the block.  It can't happen here?  Unlike the street scene these elements don't dominate, but as long as we're getting our fun illegally some of them are sure to be hanging around.

Or maybe it's just a nut case as Sedona suggests.

Can you be more specific? Who are these people? What city? Etc.

I suppose if you checked out my reviews you would see that I am in Phx.  But I don't know any specfic's besides independent providers are being attacked, raped and robbed.  So my question was more of a general question.  Who does not like independents and who would want to harm them?
