Our beloved DanaVictoria finished her final tour yesterday and at 8:30pm with very misty eyes I hugged my roomate/confidant and all around best friend farwell and watched her disappear down the ramp to her airplane.
  Dana touched so many of us with her unique warmth and genuine heart. She had the gift of making all who came to know her feel as if they had been friends for years. I had the privilage of sharing my home with her for 11 months as she made it her "home away from home". The(non-sexual)intimacy that we shared has effectively given me a "sister" that I will consider as "blood" from this day on.
  I humbly ask all of this community to to offer up its best wishes for an extraordinary lady and the lucky man who she will now be sharing her new civilian life with.
