When I first started hobbying(before I had knowledege of TER)I never even considered seeing a provider who did not show her face in her pictures. In my mind there was a reason she did not show her face. What I have come to realize is most provider's don't show their faces for security reasons. Most have a life outside of work and don't want to be associated to their escort persona. For the last few years I have taken chances on seeing providers without face pictures and I have met some of the most beautiful women in the hobby. To answer my own question I have no problem booking an appointment with a provider who does not have face pictures on her site. Does everyone feel the same way?
If she's well reviewed, it doesn't make any difference. No reviews, I'd almost have to, even if it were a private email, after I've been screened.
Less likely but if she has solid reviews that positively mentioned her looks, it wouldn't be an issue
Looks is very important to me. Even if the face is blurred I could still make out the shape and features. If the face is completely covered or not in the photo, I tend not to see her.
I tend to appreciate the security concerns the provider is looking at when not showing her face. I do want to have a general idea of the shape and conformation as well as hair style when making a decision. That is why TER is so important, it fills in the blanks.
A provider who doesn't show anything identifiable is a clever girl IMHO. One who shows her face may be careless or have fake pics.
Some providers will send you a pic of her face if you ask by email. I guess they're willing to take that risk.
If the photos are good and only the face is missing or blurred, then I will read the reviews CAREFULLY to see if she is "better looking than the pics". If no comment on pics, then I will most likely take a pass.
Can't tell you enough the value of these type services, but I have done both and only a quarter of the time have I been disappointed. Pictures can be altered with any of the great tools out there, but the truth is somewhere in the middle and the best looking don't always provide the best sessions. The "average" looking woman is likely to more memorable than the $2000 a hour PSE who you've seen in a dozen movies and who shows all of her parts freely. When these tools didn't exist, I only saw ladies that were recommended by gents that I knew where on top of it and wouldn't lie about things. The neighborhood whore houses still exist; albeit most are underground and even with the internet, you'll not meet these ladies unless you know someone.
Prince charming. what a great post to enlighten many. It is so true. it isnt because we are ugly that we dont show faces.. its because we have lives outside of this , other careers, children etc. It makes me gigggle when men think such, especially now -a-days
If she has good reviews, no problem. I can apprecaite why ladies would prefer not to show their face.
Privacy is very important. But, how many providers will send a picture to a client once the date is set up? I'd be more than willing to exchange pictures to ensure there are no surprises. I'm very discrete but I am willing to make a fair and truthful exchange.
I have my face blurred because someone might recognize me. Actually, if you look closely you can tell what I look like anyway. However, I feel the need to protect my personal life. Thank you.
Hugs,
Ciara

For me personaly, I used to show my face as those were some of the best pictures I had. I started having problems from an ex boyfriend (he was threatening to let my father know about this part of my life). Between that and my civi job I have had to remove the face shots from my site.
I have no problem once a session is set up sending a face shot. I also have posted the occasional pic on the boards but do tend to try not to show my face too much even then although I will try to give hints here and there.
...since I decided tonight to blur my face pics in my site gallery once again. Last time I gave it a try I was worried that no one would contact me, so I put the originals back up. But now with the move coming up and all, it would be nice to start off with a little more privacy. And I believe this is beneficial for my guys as well since I'm less likely to be recognized when we are out in public together.
It's so nice to hear that you guys are open-minded on this subject. ![]()

Perhaps the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on (in person, on TV, in a magazine, or anywhere else for that matter) is a provider I've seen many times now and she doesn't show her face on the web. Her face melts me. I had a recommendation from another provider, though, that she was drop dead gorgeous before I scheduled our first meeting. I've also seen some ladies whose faces looked great on the web but not so hot in person. Having said all that, I've got to see pics of the face before I make an appointment, unless I get a recommendation from a trusted source or overwelming consensus in reviews that the provider is attractive.
...I've ever seen PERIOD is a provider. She used to show her face when she started out, and this is what caught my attention. Ironically, it was a polaroid shot and the face showed a hint of racoon eyes (too much sun while wearing sunglasses) and suggested that she may've been a little chubby from the way her body was posed. Still, she looked very pretty in that pic and I decided to see her. When I saw her in person, I couldn't speak. I could barely breathe. Her pics did not do her justice at all. I told her so (eventually telling her about the racoon eyes and how her body looked a little chubby in the pic), and she laughed and said she knew it. I don't know if she put that pic up for that reason or what. When she did change out her pics and showed facial shots that came closer to capturing her beauty, she had to take them down shortly thereafter due to the response she got.
I do like seeing pictures that give me a general idea of the lady's appearance, but I'm a pretty visually-oriented guy, anyway. I like to see her sleek gleaming hair, her lovely long legs, her splendidly rounded ass, the tempting swell of her breasts, the delicate hollow at the base of her throat... Face pics are nice as an accompaniment, but they're not essential.
If the only thing your pics show me is a lace thong and your left buttcheek, and then some oddly-colored psychedelic effects get added through Photoshop, I'm much less likely to see you. I want to see what makes you unique -- if the pic could just as easily have been part of the default template for the website, something's not right.
There are many way to not show the details of a face without resrting to photoshop. I love it when a woman wears a mask or has her hair falling across her face to hide the details yet still look natural. For some women a large pair of sunglasses or hat can do the trick.
Something about them is a turn on for me.
...if she hides her face but has good scores on appearance AND is active on the boards or in chat (and seems nice), I'd see her.
If she's blurry and quiet, I'll usually pass. There's got to be some sort of connection -- physical or mental.
...I like to see the provider's face. Nothing catches my eye, like a pretty face. IMO it's a woman's most important feature. However, realizing the numerous understandable reasons why many providers won't show their faces in ads, I will definitely consider someone whose face is not shown. But for that consideration to occur, something else has to catch my attention. Yes, it could be a nice titty shot (I'll admit it, I'm a tit man). But that is not enough on its own. There will have to be a lot of well written (yes, I discount reviews that aren't well written) reviews that give the provider great scores on both appearance and performance. Then, I will PM a few of the reviewers (typically 3) and ask specific questions ranging on her facial qualities to her body to whatever else I feel like asking. Ironically, the latest provider to have caught my eye did so without any facial pics and only above average body shots. What did it, was I noticed that she had 2 Profile Pages. In submitting the problem report, I noticed how solid her reviews were. Did a little checking, and now I'm wanting to see her. As PrinceCharming stated, I'd never considered seeing her a while ago.
More than boobs, more than butt, more than legs, what attracts me is a beautiful pair of eyes, luscious lips and a demure, feminine nose.
It's a shame that I look through so many ads where I can't enjoy those features. I fully understand the need for privacy. Heck, if it were me, I'd do the same thing. I might even wear a burkha (some would say I'd look best in a burkha). So I sometimes gaze through the blurred out features in hopes of determining if the face is right for me.
There are, however, three types of photos I wish providers would avoid:
1. Blanking out the face or the head altogether. It makes you look like a stick person (a stick person with a great body, yes, but still the very embodiment of an "empty head"). Turnoff.
2. Photos where the cropping makes it appear as if the head was decapitated. I'm not looking for CSI material. A little bit of chin can remove that effect.
3. (or 2a) Reclining poses where the provider appears deceased (eyes closed, etc.) I'm not into necrophilia. I can understand the appeal of a reclining body but it should still appear lifelike, not a corpse. Maybe a raised arm or leg or crossed legs might avoid this effect. One provider has a reclining pose where her blurred face is holding up some grapes she is about to bite. I liked that.
One last criticism, I guess, are the ones where the photos try too hard to be artsy rather than arousing. A black and white shot exposing, say, a butt cheek, just does nothing to interest me.
