Hi, just wondering if providers would be freaked out by an uncircumcized guy.  Should I tell them ahead of time?

Yes, better warn them, and offer them an extra big tip

I have seen 7 or 8 providers by now, it was never a problem, we never even discussed it.

The only people that have problems with uncircumsized men are...  circumsized men.

It's always been a mystery to me why male circumcision is popularly viewed as a desirable, normal and healthful practice while female circumcision as practiced in certain areas of Africa and the Middle East to intentionally reduce or eliminate sexual pleasure is viewed (and rightly so, IMHO) as abhorrent. Perhaps some of you have also wondered about this. It seems to me that the human body is a wondrous mechanism that has been fine-tuned by hundreds of thousands of years of evolution and which should remain structurally unmodified unless there is a medical problem that clearly dictates intervention. The circumcision of a male infant, quite frankly, strikes me as barbaric when done as a "routine" procedure and where there is no pressing medical reason for it. The male infant is held down, not anesthetized and square inches of skin rich in nerve endings are permanently severed which would arguably enhance the infant’s sexual pleasure when mature. Try that on an animal and watch the police show up on your doorstep and arrest you for animal cruelty! Yes, I know the tired old mantra about cleanliness, which seems nothing more than a poor attempt to rationalize the barbaric practice, but the daily shower that should be part of everyone’s hygienic regimen should take care of this. I think it’s probably true that the circumcision of a mature man is a more major procedure than in the case of an infant, but at least a person could decide for himself if he wanted to undergo it – an option that I was not given for the reasons of common medical practice and religion!

I agree completely.  I think of all the things that we as a society were able to outgrow as we become more enlightened.  How is it that we cannot get past this and it just continues virtually unabated.

The males in my family all have circumsized penises, and every guy that I had dated had it. I remember sneaking a peek at a porn movie when I was a little girl, and the male star had an uncircumsized penis. I also remember that we had a dog, and that part of the male anatomy just looked too familiar to our dog's :((( When I look at an uncircumsized penis, it just reminds me too much of beastiality, which does not float my boat (hoping not to offend) :( Maybe if I grew up with the males being not circumsize, then I would probably think differently. I don't see where this preference is any different than someone being attracted to a certain type of female, versus other types. Also, I must add! I did have a client who was uncut, and it was smelly, drippy, and he had some left over tissue stuck to the insides of his cover, it was totally digusting. If I do get a man who is uncut, I make him wear a rubber, for I need to feel completely comfortable, before I put my mouth on it.

But, that is what I always have been more comfortable in seeing, while I was growing up, and dating long-term. Uncircumsized, reminds me of a dog's penis (just the way it looks), and I tend to get grossed out :(((( Now, I know of some of my lady friends, who feel the same or don't have any general preferences at all. Everyone is different.

I don't think it's necessary to make a big announcement about being uncircumsized. Just make sure you clean yourself well before the visit; I've noticed that some uncircumsized penises carry a distict odor that can be a turn-off.  I s'pose it's the same way for unclean females.

I prefer uncircumcised. Societal norms dictate that we continue this barbaric ritual on infants. Let them choose when they are older. Thank God that I don't live in Africa where they rountinely remove the clitorus.
