Everyday there are more girls doin the business let hobyists protect each other and let providers take care of their own. Remember this is just a business and TER and services like it are considered the BBB but like every system, things are not 100% perfect.
i live in manhattan and was trying to make an appointment with an agency. they later called me back and said that i was "blacklisted from all the agencies in ny and they'll never send someone out to me ever". i was stunned. i've never used their agency in the past or any of their affiliated agencies. i'm a really good client(i.e. i'm punctual, clean, polite, nice) and have never had a problem in the past. i have no idea how i got on the list and was wondering if there was anyway to get off it. if the blacklist thing they say is true, then it's a real bummer. anyone else have a similar experience?
Because of the proliferatio of fax machines, cell phones, etc...phone numbers get recycled A LOT MORE QUICKLY nowadays then they did in the past. Combine that with the fact that most of us Manhattan residents share an address with at least a few dozen other people (and sometimes a few hundred)...it is easy to see how such a mix up could happen. If you have a common last name....well then, fuel to the fire.
Not sure how you'd "fix" the problem, but I'm not at all surprised you're having it....
you were right. i called the agency back and asked them to double check me. at first they were hesitant, but after much cajoling, they reluctantly agreed. it turns out, the person that they really blacklisted lived in my building and had a similar name(my name is fairly common), but was NOT ME. thank god for that. they took me off the list(or at least made i note that i was not the person on the blacklist). now, on to some fun!

I mean, wouldn't common sense tell you that an address (unless it is ULTRA precise) and / or last name would not be a unique enough identifier in a city with 4 to 5 millin people (Manhattan alone) who predominatly SHARE their primary resdience with lots of other people?
I mean, let just SPECUALTE how many people named either "Johnson" or "Smith" live at Trump Towers?
I've heard so much differing information from different providers regarding these lists that I'm left not knowing what to think. Maybe each of the different stories I've heard is totally true & that things simply vary from one 'provider only' site to another.
The two things that I see as most probable (admittedly I know only what I've been told) are this:
1) The blacklisting came from a site that requires a certain number of 'bad client' postings to be made in order to continue (probably free) membership & you're a victim of that. Look we all know guys do that (scum that they are) on TER, so why not a gal on one of their sites?
2) Did you ever see a gal that you weren't thrilled with & therefore didn't 'complete' the appointment (even if you paid the full fee)? Or ever post a review on a gal that she might not have liked? The old adage 'hell hath no fury...' is not without a degree of truth to it.
Hopefully Misty, who made a very generous gesture, will be able to shed some light on it for you.
My old boss should be on that blacklist for not paying one of the escorts that spent an entire weekend with him or should I say, 3 days, and the poor lady left on empty while he fled while she was sleeping.
The girl was simply beautiful and she stayed at the agencie's request.
Not in a million years would I have thought that my boss would do such a thing.

Yes this has happened to me...I have seen a gal that I wasn't thrilled with & therefore didn't 'complete' the appointment (even after I paid the full fee) and it appears that since that episode, I have been getting blown off by providers (independents). I have seen many providers, some reviewed, some not, and not one has ever complained until now. How can one find out "definitely" if they are on one of these lists and where would one possibly be able to view the list?
