Except for one, who turned out to be an insecure, paranoid, "psycho bitch", they were all women I would have been pleased to know socially and were "sophisticated and classy ladies".

One of the providers that I saw told me that I can call her those nasty names. I told her that I don't call providers those names. Even though she is classy she has a moral dilemma in terms of being a provider. She would break the mood by wanting to talk about religion. I thought there was a distinction between a whore and an escort ?

when I meet a provider that define them, and I often try to do that, the experience is always one to remember. I pay as much for a provider's intelligence, social grace and persona as I do for her skills in other areas of interest.

Because they're sophisticated enough to make some slob think they like having sex with him and they're classy enough to make the guy believe he really can bed a beautiful woman.

I was gonna work my way to the bottom of the thread and say exactly the same thing.  Amazing that someone can be so judgemental and still hobby.  He should lay a little of that moral superiority on his own doorstep.

I think that some of the descriptions on their website go too far.  I normally do not bother with women that give an inflated description of themselves.  It just bothers me that they have too high of an opinion of themselves.  Below are a couple of mild examples, I have seen much stronger examples which I can't find at this moment. I have seen some ladies say that they are interested in diamonds and other expensive items as gifts.  I like a description that is humble. It makes me feel good about the lady, that she has her head together and isn't flaky. (and some of the descriptions go so far, that I do worry about the soundness of the person)  The look of the lady's website, her email responses, and the reviews are more telling indicators whether she has sophistication and class, I don't need an inflated description.

"As you can see, I'm a stunning woman, with doll-like measurements "  
"I'm a dynamic young lady with charm, elegance, intelligence and sophistication...., it should come as no surprise that wine, flowers, perfume, cinema and gourmet restaurants are things that I enjoy"

This is a gross example of a "hobbiest" who misses the best part of these encounters.  Anything that I could write or say to this person would be lost.  It is mostly like the person who view the classic painting and asks what it costs.  The answer is "If you have to ask, you cannot afford the price."

Even the ladies without a formal education that I have met have helped me understand my divorce and the role that my education plays in how others perceive me...  

With respect to speaking and ruining the illusion - all I can say is that - the ladies that I have met - 2 have degrees in finance - 2 have advanced degrees in psychology - and several others have degrees in perfomance arts, are horsewomen and other activities....

and now, I would ask - do you even show respect for the ladies you see, are you clean, and what do you bring to the equation?  help us all here understand why you have this thought... as it is not shared.

Agreed. Some think that the poor slob can't get any better. And some providers just want to feel better then what they do. Calling themmselves classey sets them apart from the average SW.

It's probably a better game plan for you to stick with streetwalkers, because it'll at least be cheap.  I personally look for a pleasant time with a beautiful woman.  With only a couple exceptions, that's what I've found.  Matter of fact, one lady I've seen is obviously more intelligent than I am, and the bar isn't set real low.

your two reviews which are both at least a year old.  Anneke and Ciara(PHX) sometimes post here with much insight.  Without their posts, I would not have seen them as they would have probably stayed below my radar.  

Since I have seen them both, I can vouch for their high level of  intelligence.  They are both "street smart" as well and know how to please a man.

I think he maybe talking about the descriptions on the websites.  Some of the descriptions are very self-indulgent.  It sort of bothers me when I see someone talking about how pretty they are (word like: drop-deal looks, stunning, gorgeous) and that they are interested in diamonds and other high priced gifts.  I am sure you're not that way, but some are.  It's a bit of a turn-off for me when I read these things.  A little bit of promotion is OK, but there is a thin line.  I like more modest descriptions; the reviews, her website and the professional behavior on the phone or in the email will tell me whether she is a classy and sophisticated person.  By the way Candace, have a link?

Although my experience here is limited, and therefore speaking from a limited sample, I think the answer is because they are.

I don't think that these women are any less classy or sofisticated than any other girl.  Who are you to judge what kind of person they are?  You are the one paying for their services. A girl should not be judged for getting paid for having sex or dates.  It is their kindness and presonality that make them classy and sofisticated.

Ah, some things never change (with some people).  Instead of getting mad, I think I'll just sit back on my $4,000 couch, sip on a Martini, read the Bible and laugh all the way to the bank.

I believe it's nice to do what you want when you want it and age isn't the factor it used to be. Call me crazy but most mature people realize when the pleasure is derived from "the journey" vs. "destination."  The destination is wonderful, but you can't be the journey and the total anticipation.  Someone who is smart, neat, confident and funny makes the entire experience better and that goes for both guys and gals!
