Arnold can not be elected President of the United States. I know you are playing semantics with the term “natural born citizen.” It would take a Constitutional Amendment, to let Arnold or any “naturalized” citizen become President. Here is a link that lays it out and defines "natural born citizen."
He was not born from artificial insemination, so he is quite natural born. He is a citizen. He is by one reasonable use of the terms "a natural born citizen."
The interpretation of the expression "natural born citizen" is also not a judicial but a political question. So, it is up to the political process, not the Supreme Court, although they have a way of selecting presidents that would favor Arnold. He is further certainly better equipped intellectually to be President than George W. Bush, and would be an improvement as successor. I get the impression that he is a winner who tries harder and not a spoiled brat. That is refreshing. See what happens. If he does a great job refurbishing California, then we clever lawyers will be able to justify his nomination and election as President. I've seen none of his movies, but will watch his work as Governor.
The Republican Party could well nominate and promote the election of Arnold as President in 2008. After all, discrimination against persons born outside of the U.S. is irrational and discriminatory.

It would not necessarily take an amendment to the constitution for Arnie to become president. As the link shows, Congress has attempted, in Title XIII of the US Code, to clarify the ambiguity in the Constitution by defining "natural born citizen." Congress could presumably pass (and the President sign) a new law amending Title XIII to alter that definition. Of course, any new law would have to be constitutional so if it was challenged in the courts, the Supreme Court may ultimately have to decide whether any new definition of natural born citizen (or even the old definition, if they never considered the issue before)is the correct definition. Nailing down this final issue would require research into the original intent of the framers of the constitution and all sorts of other interpretive gibberish that constitutional scholars do. And yes, I do charge by the hour. :}
