I'd have to second Turkana. A huge turn-on is right, especially if it's manifested in her humor or imagination.
Men are often intimidated by women who are taller/bigger or more successful than they are. They are intrigued by women younger or prettier, however. How do men truly feel about women who are smarter than themselves?

that someone smart would never think they are smarter than someone else ...having that attitude puts you in a point of weakness as you will underestimate your opponent.

of any, lol -- but that's not gender specific.
Honestly, I find really smart women to be a huge turn-on. Much more than physical attributes. I especially like women who are smarter in different ways than I. Give me a quantum physicist, an expert in imaginary numbers, a medieval historian.....
imaginary history.

But lots of points for cleverness!
I specialize in the imaginary present. Necessary, since I spend almost as much time on airplanes as you do.
... sense of humor, Turk. I would be happy to take Imaginary History 101 from Prof. Butler anytime. The only problem is that I would hog up all of her office hours
but what about hogging those orifices?
I get nervous meeting someone for the first time, but, never intimidated.
There are many people in this world smarter, bigger, better looking, richer, etc. than me. I can handle myself with the "high society" crowd or mingle with the bleacher bums.
We all have something to give to each other and unless someone flaunted that they were smarter, bigger, richer, etc. I try to enjoy their company as equals.
Someone who was intentionally trying to intimidate is someone I would walk away from.
Just my opinion...

O.K. I'll give you the taller/bigger part. That does intimidate me. But I much prefer the company of smart, successful women.
the trick is to keep your mouth shut and listen.
We were all given two ears and one mouth.
That was a subtle hint.
to get to know this "smart" tall female person much better, to see how she thinks and communicates, if she has a sense of humor. Who was it that said "the most erogenous organ is the brain"? She was right. And I just love tall women, they "fit" me nicely (I'm a coupla inches over 6 ft).
I personally am not intimidated by a woman that's taller than me.....I look at it as extra real estate that I get to explore and enjoy! As far as being more successful,as in earning more money than me? I expect all women in this business to make more money than me,so that certainly isn't a problem. As far as a woman who's smarter than me,I feel the same as I do when a guy is smarter than me.....a little dumb! LOL!!!
If she's smarter than me she won't have anything to do with me.
If I feel "intimidated" by someone, then I obviously am having a self-esteem issue. That feeling is an indicator that I need to look at myself and decipher what is really causing the feeling.
On the other hand, I have been accused of being intimidating, and I am always amused. Usually it is a first reaction, and when they get to know me, they confess "when I first met you, I was really intimidated. But now that I know you, I can't believe I thought that." I have often wondered about that, and have tentatively decided that women who exude an air of confidence, combined with intellect, can initially cause others to feel intimidated.
However, I believe the sexiest organ in the body is the brain (therefore, the mind) and that individuals who feel that way probably won't end up being a friend/client/partner.
I adore quick wit, intelligent conversation, and a vocabulary that extends beyond monosyllabic sounds and grunts. Nothing can turn me on faster than that!!!!
...Hugs...
Tall, intelligent, educated, aggressive women turn me on like no others. These are the women with whom I most desire to mount and copulate. It's such an incredible sex rush. It's all a matter of personal taste.
leads me to ruin. It either leaves me smug or bitter, so I try to avoid it at all costs. I find when you relate to someone as who they are and who they are not, that it opens a door to being with them in a wonderful way.
So intimidated, well I guess I would be if that is what they wanted me to be, but usually I am not looking or comparing how intelligent someone is compared to me.
or if they're wearing a gun on their hip.
Smarts may garner my respect but they are not going to intimidate me. Also as proven daily by both genders; an Ivy League doctorate degree does not guarantee a lick of common sense or street smarts.
Tall, short, smart or stupid; I'm more interested in character (or lack of) and whether to embrace or execrate upon this factor.
I'm pretty smart so that's not usually not a big issue. However, I do find women who are too loaded with brain cells, usually bring a lot of baggage to the relationship or the bedroom. I can handle the smarts but not the "are'nt you fortunate to be with me" attitude. Given me a friendly, averageIQ, blue collar girl, over the rich educated princess any time.

Smart women are a huge turn on to me. so no I'm not intimidated
Smart is sexy, smarter is sexier. Some of the most attractive women I have known were very smart, in every dimension, but not particularly beautiful in the sense of 'picture perfect'. Too many reviews focus on looks and performance rather than the person. Maybe we can add something on personality for the rating system?
small breasts, tall women, women that make a lot of money doing what they do really well, women that are even hornier and more aggressive than me and women that want to know what I want in bed...what a concept. And my ATF is a very intelligent lady that can hold her end of a conversation with anybody. So no..I am not intimidated by anybody.
. . . women who are taller/bigger or more successful than they are. I like "successful" women. I prefer smaller women, not intimidated.
I only get intimidated by women who have bigger dicks them mine. ![]()
As there are too many variables, there is no one correct answer to this question, except maybe "It all depends."
They were all super geeks! So I didn't feel intimidated at all.
I do my best to be interesting, entertaining, and fun to be around, and I prefer to have people around me who do so, too -- nothing's so discouraging as being around someone who is just coasting on looks or popularity, and having to work to keep both ends of the conversation going. It makes me feel vaguely dirty to be around someone who I obviously wouldn't hang out with except for trying to get into their pants; I consciously try to hang out with bright people.
If you can hold your own in conversation, provide thoughtful comments, and be just generally interesting, that's marvelous. I hate to feel like I'm talking rings around someone.
Did any of that make sense?
