Just a little curious after reading one of the other post. Do most of you women provider's use some other form of birth control beside's the condom? I was with one of my more favorite provider's and we had a little accident, the condom broke. This wasn't discovered until after the cup was served and we were separating. I was kind of surprised when she told me she wasn't using anything else. I would think in a provider's profession you couldn't be too safe in that matter. As hot as she is, I certainly don't know her good enough to even consider having a baby with her. I do have to admit that since she is such a hottie the thought was kind of a turn on though. At the same time there was also panick, for her and me. Fortunately for both of us, and the potential little one, she didn't get pregnant. This was over a year ago and I've seen her a few time's since.

I use an other form of birth control for I have done the single parent thing before and much as I love my son I do not want to go there again especialy as I am rather enjoying life now

If you're still seeing this "hottie" has she since added another measure of birth control?  If not you should be using condoms coated with the spermicide Nonoxynol 9, at the very least. This is not a fullproof solution to "blowouts", but it can help a lot, especially with your mental state.

OUCH! I guess I had that coming to me somewhat. Me having a VERY brief fantasy about making a beautiful woman pregnant doesn't seem that unstable to me. The circumstnce's, as I said, definitely are. I'm glad you're more level headed, participating in this hobby also. Bottom line, as you said, accident's happen. "If not you should be using condoms coated with the spermicide Nonoxynol 9, at the very least". Shouldn't everyone be, at the very least? Are they?

I got my tubes tied. I never wanted to have children, every since I was a child myself. I asked around and found out that it was hard for me to a tubal without having any kids. I finally persuaded a doctor to give me a tubal although I am childless. (persuded=one hour incall at his upscale hotel lol). It's been working so far!

I've kind of felt that way myself about having children. I never saw myself as the daddy type although I'd sure do a better job than a lot of people doing so. Lucky doctor, does he have to do regular follow up's to make sure it's still holding? I hope that didn't come across wrong, I was just kidding.

Condoms w/ nonoxynol_9 have been proven to increase your risk of contracting HIV. The spermicide eats away at the flesh in your vagina (Non-9 was originally formulated to be a pool cleaner...harsh stuff). The resultant tears make for nice little openings for HIV or anything else (syphilis etc) to enter the bloodstream.

Providers should consider the pill or at least diaphragms, cervical caps etc. as backup birth control.

IUD 's are a bad option as they increase risk of bacterial infections. Obviously, providers have higher exposure to bacteria in snesitive places.

BTW One common culprit in broken condoms is not using enough lube. Carry a little of your own guys. It feels better and it's safer. Can't go wrong there.

I have found that the Ortho-Evra patch offers an added bonus! You can pick when you will have your friend come visit.  As long as I change my patch every Sun. I will not get my period. My OB-Gyn told me I need to take it off for at least one week every 3 Mon. and that's what I've been doing for 2 yrs and I love it!

TWO little pills spaced 24 hours apart the sooner the better and it's not fool proof but it's VERY EFFECTIVE in most cases.

ALOT of us can't take hormones and other options just don't work for various reasons.

NON OX 9 is BAD.

Use the correct condom (size) for the moment and leave room at the top with no air inside, the right lube and you'll be Safe!!!
