Excellent topic, I have always told everyone in the past that they can e mail or back channel me on info or for "MHO" on any lady. The main reason why I don't post reviews is "YMMV" I have had the pleasure of hitting it off very well with some ladies and have been told that in many cases I have been given special treatment that others may not get ... so how can I post a review other than posting "YMMV" which I think sucks and doesn't really help the situation. A list of some of the ladies which I have seen. Brie, Amy Jordan, January, Mary O Malley, Roxanne, Exotic Tia, Asian Jackie, Wiggle Woman (Kim), Lisa, Diana, Amanda, Celtic Lass, Brooke Butler, Tatoo girl (Shaye), Elaina, Sexy Megan (Megan). The majority of these ladies are Las Vegas based.

It blows me away how when a provider either gets pulled or gets a bad review how many of us pop out of the woodwork to say how great she is or how they had a similar experience. Participate or don't complain.
If you see a new girl who doesn't have many reviews, then for gosh sakes write one. What tends to happen is a newbie writes a glowing review that gets them both in hot water for appearing fake. Then, as in a recent incident, TER members start saying, "Whoa, there must be a mistake. She is great and I've seen her many times." It gets difficult to trust reviews when the only ones are from guys who have only one or two reviews to their name. Good TER reviews can make her a lot of money, while bad ones can save us a lot of money.
I don't get the "keep her to myself" theory. If you found her, so did many others. The difference is that with TER reviews she can work among a better group of men and stay in business. If you don't, she has to do other things to earn a living with may conflict with our interests (hooking, drugs, dancing, movies).
The other one is where a girl gets a bad review in the middle of many great ones and then guys start in with how they have had similar experiences. Granted, Staff may be slow to accept one bad review in a sea of great, but he would have to see more coming in about this girl and post.
I'm certainly not suggesting a review for every date, but certainly for the very good, the very bad, and the very new.

There's a thing called the Law- Have you heard of it?
Law Enforcement? Heard of that too?
Then you can understand why some of the older more experienced dudes talk as little as possible about anything real on this site. And why ladies go off the sites when they think they have enough client base to do it.
If you want unrestrained hobby info- you gotta go North or to Europe- places where governments use a little logic to rule- and the common man is a little brighter.
None of this site is real anyway...it is for entertainment purposes only.
In most cases, LE targets the providers, not the customers.
I don't know of any client or provider who was convicted solely based on reviews. Yet, LE has used the boards to gather criminal evidence against hobbyist.
In a civil mater (IE divorce), it can be damaging. You can tell a judge/jury that all this was fiction, fantasy, etc. etc. etc..., do you think they'll buy that?
In a criminal case, you are "Innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt", protected by Miranda rights , claim entrapment by the plaintiff, and even plea insanity. However, none of these apply in divorce cases.
How can these messages/reviews be so damaging? Simple, unlike phone, credit cards, or hotel records, they don't explain why you called, why you used your card, why you were check in at zxy motel at 2pm 2 miles from your house - these messages and/or reviews can and they can be used in court or at the very least cause much embarrassment.
If you married guys want to engage in this hobby, you need to take steps NOW, otherwise, it will bite you in the ass.
PS. Did I mention public opinion? Go ask Michael Jackson or a catholic priest
...
Although jmy may be a bit extreme in some of his views :P, I wholeheartedly agree with his basic premise. It isn't really necessary to write a review on a lady who has more than a page or two of reviews, as long as she has a recent one and your review is mostly in agreement with what is already out there. However, if there aren't many reviews posted on a lady, the reviews are important for her and for your fellow hobbyists, whether the review is good or bad. Also, if you have a really good or a really bad experience, a review should always be posted.
I know that a lot of you guys are "under the radar"...the survey said 4 out of every 10 guys don't post reviews. However, IMO, it kind of is weak for a guy to take advantage of this service and NEVER contribute anything to it, especially if he sees a lady who doesn't have many reviews posted. I mean, use a buddy's computer if you can't use the one at home. Without reviews, there would be no TER, and without TER, the hobby would be so much more of a crapshoot for all of us, it isn't funny.
It's "weak" to not post a review?
I don't post reviews for two reasons. One, I'm not comfortable writing about the experience. Two, I've been asked not to, every time I've seen a woman, (total of four now).
I have a great, high end agency I use. I was introduced to them by someone here. I've benefited from this sight to where I don't really need the VIP status or anything it provides, however, I still pay for the VIP status in support.
I do post reviews however I won't post reviews on my ATF (selfish), she has reviews and I would suspect there would be a high ymmv factor as I do overnights with her and spent about two weeks withe her last year which appears to count for something given her other reviews. I suspect most guys with "companion" ATF's don't post reviews on them.
I also use an agency which bans reviews on penalty of denying you the right to book.
I also pay for my membership and there are certainly other ways to contribute to the community other than just reviews of fictional events that never really happend.
My opinion humble or not
So it is obvious that we should post a review in these cases to help both the provider (if she was good) and the other TER hobbyists wheteher the experience was positive or negative.
Newbies-we welcome them always. However, (no offense intended here) but I look at their reviews with a grain of salt, especially if the lady has only one (the newbie's) or very few. The person has no frame of reference to compare their experience to.
Bad vs. Good-I usually ignore one bad review in a sea of good ones. I chalk it up to a YMMV. In my experience, there was a lady that I had the pleasure of spending time with who was beautiful and fascinating to talk with. A review was posted that ranked her as a "7" for appearance. I don't know who he met, but not the lovely lady I did. That doesn't even go into his thoughts on performance.
Reviews in General-I actually enjoy writing them. I think it is a good outlet for story telling. I also enjoy reading about the experiences of my fellow hobbyists. Reviews are an integral and important part of this web site. Not all of my reviews can be posted, due to the lack of a web site or other issues.
By the way, gcinla is my hero (along with Fortitude and 1way)!!!!!

you writing reviews is not a fun thing to do especially when one is busy with hobbying and other matters.
Being an active reviewer can be draining at times especially when one had to choose words judiciously so that interests of both fellow hobbyists and ladies can be served.
I knew a few active TER board members who hesitate to write reviews because they don't want the responsibilities of accidentally misleading others as their scoring rating and taste are different from the average reviewers. Some don't want to take the chance of offense ladies they are still seeing or upset the chance of getting appointments with other ladies with truthful reviews. Some only backchannel their finds with their buddies. Some don't want to post reviews in case their SOs found out the truth about their hobbying activities and use details of their reviews against them. Others don't want to create the supermodel/superescort phenomenon with their glowing reviews. They feared that the ladies will raise their rates and reduce their availablities once they achieve certain fame in a local community.
All the above reasons are valid to a certain extent. Unfortunately sometimes new ladies are so desperate to get reviews, they chose to self-post. Inevitably, they got caught and banned from TER even though they might provide wonderful services to hobbyists. This has happened many times last years, a number of them in LA.
Many TER members question ladies they are interested in about their lack of sufficient recent reviews. Many also adopt the rule of not seeing any ladies without at least 3 solid reviews from veteran reviewers. Interestingly though, many of those same TER members also refuse to or stop posting reviews. Hence the tragedy of worthwhile ladies being delisted because of self-posting perpetuates.
Unfortunately, this is a recurring theme in TER with no end in sight.

GC you should get a freebee from a top lady when you hit 100!!
rock
For me not halving more reviews it is a matter of funds, I just took care of that problem by finding a job. So look out for more from me on an assorted cast of ladies.
I agree with you as to whay 40% of VIP's do NOT post reviews. Some do not due to wanting to stay under the radar or not to offend the lady.
My opinion is if you write a review that is honest, truthful and not vulgar it helps EVERYBODY! it helps weed out the bad providers or make them re-look at their way of doing buisness and possibly improving their level of service.
I have always writen reviews on ladies I have seen. Be it a one time shot or if I have seen her multiple times. I wish the staff would not pull old reviews written afer the 2nd or 3rd time you have seen the lady so people can see what kind of track record they have.
I don't buy the Law issue, they are looking more at providers not hobbyists unless you are looking for street walkers.
I feel if you are going to use this board to benefit yourself, you should make some sort of contribution to help the cause.
