You could write a book answering that, even in Nashville!

The bottom line is that arrests in Nashville - as everywhere - depend upon the whimsy of LE and prosecutors, both State and federal. Internet sex is easy to prosecute and prove, but a low priority, unless a cop or a prosecutor just feels like busting somebody.(I have taught federal evidence FWIW).
A very good, active local criminal defense lawyer could tell you the general policies of Nashville LE, but if they want to get you, it's a piece of cake, but not one often sliced. There are no answers or statistics for your questions. Statistics hardly matter when they put the cuffs on and go see your wife and kids.
Seeing a well known provider in a safe place is fine, unless she is being investigated, or some stranger or hotel dick calls the cops. LE can arrest a guy in those circumstances if they feel like it, to exert pressure. It happens. You have no control over it at all. You can just be careful and in denial like everybody else. LOL

I knew a provider (who has since retired) who was caught in a "sting".

I dont know how (or if) she screened the gentleman...probably a quick "whats your name, show me ID" thing (which is her fault) but it was a Same Day Appointment.

She went to a Motel 6 and she says the moment the guy opened the hotel room door she "knew" he was LE (95% sure). She literally said "hello officer" as she walked in, and he just sort of chuckled, saying "what makes you think I'm a cop"? She just pushed past him and sat down on the bed.

She said she knew she should have left, but she still was not 100% sure he was LE. She said he sat down on the bed next to her and before he (or she) could say anything else, she excused herself to go to the restroom. She said she used the restroom, washed her hands and when she came out FOUR other officers were in the room. They were going through her purse (that she had left on the bed). They then put the cuffs on her. She said "how can you be arresting me? We didnt talk about sex, money, anything! I didnt take any money from you". He said "Its not up to us to make the charges stick, that's up to the D.A.'s office, we just make the arrests".

I guess they got her on a "Intent To Solicit" charge. The cops dont care if the charges stick, they just want to make their arrest numbers look good. They just want to make the taxpayers think their hard earned dollars are working.

IMHO LE will stop at nothing to get an arrest.

I think in general (I don't know about Nashville specifically), the big bad boys in blue go after us girls, vs. you. Think of it this way... if they can prove we committed an illegal act (I certainly do not do anything illegal!), they can put us out of business... which makes it so that NO clients can see us... thus they are using their time more wisely than if they went after a few guys.... don'tcha think?

BTW I said in general... meaning, there are exceptions to every rule!
