So, a provider you "prayed" would tour your city announced she was coming for a visit. You were very excited and fired out an immediate e-mail. Your first bitch is that she answered you 2 days later and was still working out logistics. Here's my take--such a trip does take some time to arrange and work out the details. 2 days is not an inordinate response time and she was polite enough to acknowledge you and your desire to meet her. She just needed time to make arrangements.
Your second bitch is that when she arrived she was not available at the time you had asked for. I can imagine she did not go there just to see clients and had other things she wanted to do and see. It is unclear in your post but I assume you accepted the new appointment time.
Your third bitch is that she was 'dry', 'mellow' and 'not lively...for me' over the phone. Well, I myself am one who does not give 'good phone'. My voice is quite monotone and I too am 'mellow'. That can sometimes be misinterpreted. That does not mean, however, that she was not enthusiastic. After all you'd never met this girl, you were comparing her the fantasy you had of her.
Your fourth bitch is that you got 'NO' confirmation call. Well I usually take control of my own life and make confirmation calls myself.
What I'm getting at is I'm guessing that in the overall scheme of things this was not a major setback in your life. Get over it. As you said 'there ARE others offering the same thing'. So call one of them instead of bitching about a particular provider who you feel was not as enthusiastic to meet you as you were to meet her.
Certainly there are some people who are more professional than others. I deal with both everyday. So that's what I'm suggesting...'deal with it'.

I was very surprised when i saw posts on the discussion boards about a visit to my city of a NEW and hot new provider.
She had only 2 reviews at the time ( very good ones) and a picture that only showed her Body. No website. But the descriptions and the reviews convinced me that she was worth 2 hours.
I must have been one of the first to e-mail her....saying how happy I was she was doing a tour of my city and how I had prayed for such a thing. I inquired about a 2 hour rendezvous.
2 days leter, i get an e-mail saying she is not sure of location and exact date.
I followed up and asked to be notified....etc etc
to cut a long story short...she DID come...and then e-mailed me to say my initial appt. has to be moved from the convenient mid-PM slot i had wanted to a 10:00 AM weeeknd morning...10 AM...i would have to wake up at 7:30 so I can be there at 9:30...on a weekend!!!!!
When I did finally talk to her on the phone she was dry, too mellow and not lively at all for me. Something turned me off. AT first I didn't care. I wanted her so bad and $$ was no issue. But that morning I got NO confirmation call. So that did it. I e-mailed and cancelled.
Ladies, if you have no enthusiasm..there is 2 options//
#1- act like you do #2- take a vacation, after all you ARE self employed
or actually.... #3- quit the biz
I LOVE it when a lady answers back e-mails promptly...I am not asking for an answer in 30 seconds...but 48-72 hours is way too long. there ARE others offering the same thing you know!!!!
run your business like a business. I am not saying the customer is always right. But use your wisdom and be a little more consistent and prompt with replying to inquiries. Specially when those inquiries follow YOUR criteria to the "T".
