I have had nothing but really good experiences with the Female Condom. A provider introduced it to me and I have been very eager to use it since.

My top reason, it is much more comfortable for the well endowed and the female is the one to wear it.

Proper use is needed and the texture seems safer and less likely to rip.

Hope you'll try it!

How many providers know about lambskin condoms?? I've encountered a few that thought a condom was a condom..They feel good and may be good to prevent pregnancy..but..they do not stop the transmission of STD's during intercourse..What is the most SENSITIVE latex condom on the market today? and does it accomodate large thick cocks? and what is the deal with polyurethane condoms?

Polyurethane condoms are most likely for people who are allergic to latex.  Some people can have serious latex allergies causing severe skin rashes.  This would be very embarrssing (not to mention painfull!) in such a sensitive area.

your own skin offers more protection against viral/bloodborne infection than latex.

a latex condom will help to prevent viral infection (HIV, hepatitis, herpes) through broken skin or the open tip of the urethra.

polyurethane condoms are for people with a latex allergy; they are neither more nor less sensitive, and are more porous than latex (thereby providing SOME protection from viral infection, but not as much as latex).

lambskin condoms are much more sensitive than either, and also much more porous. they are advertised as NOT providing protection against viral infection, although they do offer some (better than bareback, anyway).

ALL condoms will provide some protection against bacterial disease like gonorrhea, and against pregnancy.

i've tried a few of the "ultra-thin" latex condoms. i can't remember the brands. they were marginally better than the ordinary ones. like the difference between the COMPLETE LACK of sensation and a vague feeling of pressure.....

One trick I learned is to put a small (emphasis SMALL) amount of lubricant on before you put on the condom.  This more approximates BBF, and can be quite good.

good to hear from you fortitude..sounds good..I'll try it..but "emphasis small" .. did you have the condom slide off at times especially with a tight pussy?..

OK what is your opinion on BBBJ vs CBJ and how worried should I be with DATY.

Thanks

I really don't like CBJ at all, and usually will not see a provider who does it exclusively.  My understanding is that the risks are minute.  BBFS is another issue.  That's an absolute no-no.

Sliding off shouldn't be a problem if the condom is applied correctly, but yes, over doing it could make them slip a bit.  But as the lube thins out from the friction of the sex act,it more closely approximates that which is natural.  Too much just feels greasy.  I suppose everyone is a little different and you just have to experiment a bit.  I was fortunate I guess to have learned this from a savvy provider.

Definately use just a drop or so as it can slide right off if you are with someone who has tight muscles (grin)

One lady I saw had both latex and polyurethane condoms. For round 1, we used the latex. For round 2, she asked me to try the polyurethane and tell her which one I liked better. For me, the difference was very noticable: the polyurethane felt much, much better. But I have to admit that I don't know what type she used. It could have been some kind of ultra-super-thin polyurethane against the thickest latex on the market for all I know. I just know that second round was so much better.

you guy are making me VERY insecure. Also, if i put saran wrap in the tip of my thimble, will that work?                              LDTRM (in tribute to NDTBF)
