I remember someone on the Minnesota forum was excoriated for talking to a local weekly.  I thought the blowback was unwarranted, since TER is open to the public -- I'm sure LE is aware of it.

I found out about TER from a story in the New York Times around 2007 or 2008. I lurked for around a year before I anted up for membership.

TER was not the subject of the story. It was something mentioned in a sentence to two.

Tell them you've been victimized and this whole evil thing must stop.  
If you tell them the real story they won't want to listen.

Expect to spend time in jail afterwards and get a college scholarship.!!

Everyone stay calm....everyone knows TER is back up and running. I am not saying anything that anyone does not know already. And it is more about the review culture in general of sex workers, not just TER in specific. I will be giving a positive outlook, they will also be interviewing a few gals that have a negative aspect to reviews in sex work.  

And we need to remember the reason TER went down in the first place...SESTA/FOSTA. We need to be speaking out about how damaging this law has been for sex workers and how TER as well as many other sex worker sites was a huge loss of revenue for sex workers as well as keeping them safe.

Since TER requires escorts who post in the ads forums to have a TER banner on their websites, the idea that they want to be low profile ... as they say in Texas, that dog don't hunt.

I am sorry that has been your previous experience, but I very much enjoy sex and I also very much enjoy talking about sex with my clients, including what they would like to explore with me and what they have experienced before that they enjoyed. Like anything else, it about finding someone you can connect with on a physical level and emotional level.

yeah, I want my prices low. Many of the apt. girls I met didn't even have S.S. number and wouldn't be able to get into the legality of work.  
But then that side of the hobby wouldn't change. Hey, it's not my fault some providers don't have documents. How else some of them will support their families back home? I'm proud to have helped so many people in a small way.  
When I see bums on the street and ask me for money. In my mind I go "I can't help you. But I already help somebody and that makes me feel good".

So, now after your interview the search for TER on Google will be enormous.

I am, as well as all other sex worker rights groups, advocating for decriminalization, NOT legalization. This would remove the laws that make it illegal, without regulation to make it "legal". Essentially it would function as it does now, without the laws in place that cause it to be illegal and cause the arrests.  NONE of us are advocating for legalization, which would put licensing requirements and regulations in place. The group I work with assisted with bills that were put forward in New York and Washington DC. Both were sidelined at the end of 2019, but we are going to work again to get them going. Ultimately we want to put bills in all 50 states.

Please read my message below. We also 100% support illegal immigrants working in massage parlors or as independent sex workers without the harassment from police or ICE.  

I'm not interested unless I get famous and somebody "leaks the juicy gossip" so I can catapult into fame. Or at least a viral social media platform that is positive and represents the sex industry as a positive impact on my life, which it has.

I'm a provider and while YOU may be comfy putting your real name (as well as making a name for yourself, I see you) and doing interviews gives you no right to expose the rest of us even further.  And yes I am using an alias, cause you sure aren't discreet and don't care about your fellow providers.

I am all for consenting adults to do as they choose with their own bodies. but we have always had immigration laws, and we have them for a reason. As much as I like my AMP girls, K-Girls, Latina providers et al. and I would hate to see any of them deported they are subject to the same laws as everyone else.

Oh, and just so you could clear the air, how many times have you been arrested for being a sex worker? How did that impact your finances? Your family? Your children?

How's biz?  Are customers flocking to your new-found celebrity, or are they shying away because like most of us johns, they want to be UTR, and that's now impossible with you?

I've never been arrested but I know those that have - it sucks.

Here you might be risking your life for the rest of humanity but not everybody would see it that way.

Most of the time I'm left or pushed aside to the middle looking at both sides. Not knowing who is right or wrong.  
Seeing good points from either side.

I used to see a provider before she was featured in a documentary about sex workers. I can’t say for sure how it impacted her life, but I know she has not been doing well at all ever since it was released. Coincidence?

I am far from a celebrity, and business is as good as ever. I live in a super small town, less then 2K people. My clients are all regulars and they all know about my activism and support me and the decrim of sex work. And I have been doing this for years, nothing new.

Canada has the Nordic model....NOT what I am advocating for.  

the calendar on your website is all blank for the next three months.  It suggested to me that either 1) you are fully booked for the next three months and don't have an opening for even one new client, or 2) there is no business to be had right now, so why even put up a calendar showing when you are available for new clients?
