fuckin idiot reviewers telling too much identifying details...

Why do some reviewers put the name of the of the development (hotel or apartment) in the juicy details? Putting this type of highly identifying info in there is just plain dumb, imho

I can't think of any reason how this could have any upside, There's tremendous downside though, especially if she exposes her face on her website.

However, such reviews do seem to get approved sometimes and obviously a problem report need to get submitted once spotted.

Well, Here's a gentle gesture to the dumb fucks writing too much identifiable details.

i've read some reviews where the reviewer states the name of a store where he caught sight of a provider or the exact location where he waited to be called to meet. so any stalker could ho and hang out and bother her. its ridiculous.

it's one reason why a provider should read reviews as part of her screening. if the idiot is going to blab that much he's a security risk.

Guys that do this are asses. No need to put any identifying information in a review. I have seen one review that basically told what room she worked out of in her permanent incall in an office building. The cops month after that review was posted just showed up and busted her. Not cool at all. She retired shortly after.

We can expect a certain number of idiots to send in reviews and be blind to their own dumbness; that's a given.

What is not a given is that TER's people will let glaring things like that pass, especially when they take niggling stands on minor details to reject a review.

It is good for we readers to call this out with problem reports, but TER needs to get their act together too.

For a gal to have gotten busted as Scoed reports owing to a review leaking details of her location even once is one time too many.

I see it a lot. Idiots just don't think. I agree with Claudius also. Providers need to read their reviews to look for stuff like that. They can send in problem reports, as can we, when we see things like that. They can also use that information as a screening method like Claudius mentioned. There is potential for L.E. issues (as scoed mentioned), and also so much potential for stalkers and stuff. It's just a dumb thing to do, posting that kind of detail, but there are a lot of dumb members I guess. Technically TER should not allow it, but a lot of stuff get through the "review reviewers." Obviously there are not enough of them, and too many reviews to post. As I type this, there are 5300 new reviews at the top of this page. It's up to members to file problem reports.

I am putting you on notice, in the future posts by you that add nothing but noise to the conversation will be denied as "too stupid to be read" I know there is no official disapproval reason synonymous with my reason, but I sure you are at least smart enough to figure out why many of your future posts will never see the light of day.

If you don't like it, either start making sense or don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out.

On second thought Mikey will be drunk tomorrow as well, so I guess that argument sort of breaks down, doesn't it? lmao

IMO, the reason for this practice is that reviewers, especially new hobbyists, are uneducated.  I almost made a mistake early on in my "career" due to a lack of knowledge or maybe it was a lack of judgement on my part.  In a review I innocently mentioned the phrase written on a provider's tattoo.  Thankfully, the reviewers caught it and asked me to revise my review.  As a newbie I did not even think about how my description might reveal too much detail about my date.  The solution to this problem is "education".  In other words "be part of the TER community" and follow the Newbie Board.  We "experienced" hobbyists need to be helpful and provide newbies with the information they need to be good, responsible members of our community.

and no I am not commenting on Mikey's looks at all, just on the very small likelihood that he will be sober on any particular day.

But I will concede, it's extremely unlikely that I will ever describe Mikey as "cute". No, not likely at all. lol

It's easy for a new reviewer to get carried away, waxing eloquent. I have had similar things happen a number of times so I always try to read the dern review the instant it hits the boards. I evaluate the tidbits of info given, compiled with how much of my actual self (photos and prose) is visible on my WS to try to put myself in the shoes of my family members. Is enough of a picture drawn that they could possibly fill in the dots?? Yikes!

The newbie board is an awesome resource. Hope folks use it and I agree it's incumbent upon those of us with more experience to participate.

She said OK but please don't use exact locations or other easily identifiable information...  made total sense.  I've made a practice of being aware to not circumvent her security process.  Not long after, I warned another lady of her ad...  which mentioned an exit number near me.  I knew instantly that there was but a single motel at that exit & no others for many miles.  I warned her & the ad was edited within the hour.
If I saw such a review on TER, I'd try to contact her & file a problem report.   We know when it's wrong.

For stealing a Winston Churchill quote:
Female dining partner of WC's:  "Winston, you are drunk."
Winston's reply:  "And you are ugly.  But tomorrow, I shall be sober."
Are you suggesting that mikey's ugly, too?  He keeps telling us he's "cute."

What an asshole statement, especially considering the level of posts that meet with your approval.. Like I said before, some people can't be trusted with even the lowest level of authority without abusing it.
