It's the end of the year, so just running the numbers.. I only started seeing providers in Mid October.. but have spent a bit over $5,000 since then, not counting optional gifts and tips.. of that about half went to one provider for two long visits.. about $1,000 to another for 3 visits total time.. is a bit over 18 hours since Mid October.. I see an average of about $280 an hour..

For argument's sake let's say the average visit (for the rest of us) is $400, that's 50 visits per year. Hence, you could ask us if we dip our stick approximately once per week...

I'm not phisinhg for anything.. literarally just curious.. I wonder if I am spending a lot more than most.. I hope I am spending about the same as most.. I honestly could care less about anyone's answer.. It was just intersting to me the way the math worked.. adding up the hours (turned out to be a lot more than I would have guessed) & adding up the money.. made me realize why I seem to be a bit short until tax return time.. don't be so frikkin paranoid

but rather how much you can afford.  If you can spend $20 grand on P4P and not feel guilty then I don't see a problem.  If, on the other hand, you are worried about it then you probably need to reign things in.

If I spent $8k but that was 20% of my AGI or 10% of my net worth, I probably have a problem.  If I spent $200k, and it's 1% of my AGI, well that's just pocket change.

I was making a generalization. You're trying to compare what one guy spends to what another guy spends.  I'm simply saying there are other considerations.

A guy with an SO, steps out once or twice a month@ 300/hr.  That puts spending at around 4-8K . yr in round numbers.  Entirely reasonable expense for many, high quotient of fun.

Are you trying to figure out if you are becoming a "Slave to your impulses" , by trying to figure if what your spending is alot? Sex is  very powerfull, it has taken many a good man down, it's best to not let your desire's run or ruin your life...it's a personl matter.
