ED drug habituation?

After using Levirta for several years I've noticed that it wasn't as effective as it once was. So I switched back to Viagra. Lo and behold, Viagra returned as the wonder drug it once was. A recent encounter I had allowed me to have 3 cups in an hour when before I barely could manage one.  (It didn't hurt that she really was into it as well)

So the question is, can one get habituation to one drug with diminished results? Will I further expect that in time Viagra will have diminished returns and Levitra will deliver the goods? Or will there be another ED drug to be named at a future date?

Vivus just got their ED drug approved and it is supposed to be much faster performing than Viagra.

I have been doing my DD on their drug and they did report some loss in performance with prolonged, frequent uses. I do believe one of the panelist saying something about that being the case for Viagra as well. I cannot comment on Levirta, but your experience suggests so.

Alternate and wait till end of this year to check out Avanafil by Vivus. Happy humping...

Well considering you've been using Levirta for "several years" --

I think it depends on your age as well, we all know the older you get, the harder it is to get harder (LOL).  So age has a lot to do with performance.  So of course over time it may not be as effective due to your age.  So that's one thing you need to take a look at.

Another thing is dosage.  I personally have never taken Levrita but do use Viagra on occasion.  And having 3 cups in one hour is kind of ridiculous, isn't it?  Don't you think that's over indulging?  Even if you're in your 20s or 30s, 3x in one hour seems a little much.  If I take 25 MG of Viagra, I'm good for maybe 2 cups in an hour if I am well rested and haven't had sex for a few days.    If I take 33 MG it's a bit easier (harder!) to get 2 cups out.  If I take 50MG I'm good to be hard for the next two hours, but not necessarily getting more than 3 cups out in 2 hours.  But I really feel that taking that much is a real drain on the membrane.

These kinds of questions are best left to your doctor.  You could also have a change in testosterone levels due to your age.

- not a doctor Froomie

low doses of Viagra have been shown to be extremely effective with treating ED.  High doses have been linked to prolonged time to ejaculation as well as the inability to ejaculate.  I am constantly amazed by how many people on this board are happy to get their info from other hobbyist.  Guess what guys, everyones body responds differently to meds.  Talk to your Doctor not a bunch of hobbyist looking for the next great lay.  Doctors don't give a shit who your fucking, they are more interested in how a particular med works for you.  If i'm wrong you need a new doc.

eventually your body will develop a resistance to them and effectiveness will be diminished.

Prescription drugs should not be abused and used only as necessary unless these are therapy drugs which help keep your body functioning like BP pills, diabetes meds etc.

Yes, it's possible with ANY drug. Much depends on your own body's chemistry and reaction to the drug.
