The only other thing that gives me pause is an internal shakeup inside Fairfax County PD.  High-level people, were shielding a low-level agency. Wasn't this one, but there may be a trickle down effect where the investigations that were suppressed might be moving forward again.

Anyway, probably nothing but good advice. Will hang out and watch for a bit.

Let me further explain. There is a local agency website that has never been offline. Recently, it went totally offline with an error message. Now it's back up, but no posting of models, just the front page.

Would this give you pause to book? (knowing who is there from the previous day's listing so no model info is needed) In general, I figure it's just an update, but would this have anything to do with law enforcement? I highly doubt it, but just getting the opinions of others on this matter.

TIA

There was an obscure Asian site in the northeast that went dark about a week ago.  No message...just cannot connect (timeout).  Is your case an Asian site/agency?  If so, LE might have done a trafficking sting.

It would.. Good to pause then resume once things seem to be normal.

JM also went down a couple of months ago. She told me they are updating it.   Lot of times it's just that.. Updating this, that and the other..

There is a long back story here, too. Some higher-ups at FFX PD were shielding a local lower-level agency.  They were busted last fall. One of the key investigators was suppressed, but now with the corrupt cops gone who were his boss - he is now free to go after "human trafficking" groups. Thus a bit of paranoia on my part.

Anyway, the site is back up, but proceeding with caution.

I really don't keep up with local politics, but I hear what you are saying..

Particularly given you're not actually going to schedule anything just now it seems. If you've got a burner number, or just not too worried sending a text saying "Hey looks like you had and issue with your website. What's up?" is not something that can really get you in trouble (yes, not without risk but jail time, no).

Or just wait until you see some ads and then watch to see if someone you know has any comment or some reviews start showing up.

They use email only so not a big deal.

agency always gives me pause. Most providers will post somewhere if their site is coming down  for maintenance for this exact reason.
