Sure, as soon as you give birth
In addition to playing basketball with friends and tennis with my sister I'm at the gym five days a week kicking ass and taking names my problem is I can't lose the weight in my stomach the rest of my body is exactly where I want it to be I do crunches and the abs machine. Any other ideas how to tighten up the stomach? I can't afford a personal trainer they want $60 a session with 20 session minimum. The yoga instructors is pretty hot I Asked for a date and got turned down.
I refuse to give up pasta rice and other carbs. Don't eat a lot throughout the day and when I do eat is usually very bland.
Friends recently told me that my body looked great. I know the gym is working.
Someone told me recently that I was the best fuck they've had. No it wasn't a provider and no I wasn't fishing for compliments. That comment pushed me to going to the gym even harder. Ultimate fantasy is to fuck a girl from the gym
Some of the providers you can definitely tell they hit the gym hard
There are some prostitutes that are swearing by it.

Visit 4 providers a day.........7 days a week..........in 5 years you will be fine. You may not be alive.......but your stomach will not be a problem.
and come to think of it, I did lose a few pounds, but I would be dead, or completely disinterested in ever having sex again if I ever tried doing it again for any extended period of time.
you survived..........says a lot about your physical stamina.
For food, for drink, for sex, you name it. My motto has always been "Moderation is great, as long as I can get enough of it"
As I get older my appetite is no where near what it used to be, but up until my late forties I still could eat a dozen lobsters, fuck five or six women, drink 30+ shots of tequila, any one of these things in a single day. Not all on the same day of course, now THAT would be some kind of feat, wouldn't it? lol
Damn, it sucks getting old, but it does beat the alternative.
Sure, as soon as you give birth
Had to do all of this a few nights ago, including sprints and suicides, did about 300 situps
To get extremely lean it has everything to do with your diet (and a bit of genetics). You can only work out so much. You can build a lot of muscle to increase you basal metabolic rate but that can only get you so far. In the end, it usually comes down to eating an extremely healthy diet with little to no insulgences. I personally cannot live without wine and chocolate, haha.
Maybe coolsculpting is a good idea? I hear good things and it really is for those who want to spot treat
Maybe coolsculpting is a good idea? I hear good things and it really is for those who want to spot treat.
Or at least for most of us that is true and part of it has to do with age.
I had no problems maintaining a 30 inch waist until my mid thirties which then went to about as 32 inch waist at about 35 and I was able to eat and drink anything and as much as I wanted until about 50 as long as I stayed active, now that I am well into my mid/late fifties I have had to accept the fact that no matter how hard I hit the gym, unless I want to accept a 34 inch waist, which I refuse to do, I have had to make some sacrifices not the least of which is I had to stop drinking beer.
I still drink, and I drink like a fish, but no longer do I suck down a twelve pack during the day and then go out drinking at night. Like you, I have ZERO intentions of ever giving up wine. Chocolate I can live without if I have to. I will confess to drinking on average a bottle of wine a day, but I have still lost my beer gut and as long as I hit the gym on a regular basis, I can keep the belly fat off, but I do miss beer sometimes. I don't do a lot of day time drinking except when on the beach or on the golf course and I have discovered I can drink vodka mixed with either cranberry or powerade and I can drink it just like beer, be functional and not end up looking pregnant.
Diet is key
Ive been in the gym since high school
When i hit 50. fm
There really isn't exercise for spot fat reduction.
It's diet. Not crazy stuff. Just eating right and exercising.
In reality after a certain age it's really hard to have that flat belly. Crunches will strengthen abdominal muscles. But you still have to eat smart.
And , watch the alcohol .
"Abs are made in the kitchen" is very true. I have done cool sculpting as well and it gives amazing results but my stomach is the tightest and I'm most lean when I eat clean and workout. (80 % diet, 20% excercise)
You can still eat well(pasta, ect) within reason(portion control) they have a lot of great brown rice pastas out there that taste just like regular pastas.
Goodluck!
Am I the only one who had to Google Cool sculpting? The videos are pretty cool, but I did get side tracked by people carrying drones ... Ah the future! 🙄
Edit F. Ing spell check got me again ;(

Bambi Lynn here in Philly is a super hot yoga instructor, been "dating" her for the past 2 years. Can't say its done much for my flexibility, but I can vouch for hers. Mostly different positions for DATY, some of which really increase her focus, LOL.

Also, it sounds like you do most of your eating in the evening, which is the worst time to do it. Move your dinner time to around 6:30 pm and cut back on the portion. The weight will come off your tummy. I've done it myself.
Speaking from someone that lost a lot a lot of weight (as you might know) I would get on high protein and low carb diet. I know you love your pasta and carbs but baby boy go hard the first time around and afterwards when your body is ripped you can incorporate your whole wheat pasta and rice. Insanity is a great program that you can do at home ($40.00 investment) also no joke watch Lockup on NBC what those men do in their cells is amazing, easy and virtually free. I will say you will have to lose the rice and pasta. Think of it this way, you know how many miles you have to run to burn the calories you ate? Hmmm but what do I know ![]()
I remember getting off a stationary bike soaking wet from sweat and thinking to myself, "I didn't even earn myself a six pack"
Or to put in another way, running a Ten K at a moderate clip only burns about the same amount of calories as a six pack of beer.
Good think I have always naturally steered towards a high protein diet, I almost never eat shit that comes out of a box and I don't have much of a sweet tooth. OTOH, have I mentioned I drink like a fish? and alcohol has a LOT of empty calories.
Have you though about doing an abs class at your gym. They do work, I am always sore afterwards and I have a flat stomach. Or try some planks, forearm or arms straight out. Try and hold it for a minute a few times a day. It works well too. Actually hard for most people. If in Tampa look me up and I can show you personally. I work at Crunch Fitness. Lisa Lipps
I work out all the time, with a trainer. I have been losing weight consistently, through diet mostly. Totally cut the carbs and you will lose the weight. Like other posters have said 80% diet, 20% exercise. It's true. Cool sculpting or any quick fix is not the answer. Do it naturally, with diet.

Just to follow up I don't know if I made this clear. I can't go on a weight loss diet because there is nothing left to lose. I am 5 ft 8 160lbs all muscle. If you took 3lbs out of my stomach I would have the abs that I want. That's what I have been trying to do to get the stomach tighter and flatter. That is what I am having the most difficulty with.

Number one, you won't have enough time to eat all those carbs and number two, even if it doesn't work and you don't lose that stubborn belly fat, you'll be in too good a mood to care.
Just in case you hadn't noticed, your posts on the subject are starting to sound a bit narcissistic. Just sayin...
How about if you take a photo of your bod, hire a Photoshop expert and after he/she does the magic editing place the photo on your P411 page and be content to meet all your ladies only once and move on to the next. Hell there are lots of guys would go for that while continuing to enjoy the carbs.LOL
No matter how many ab exercises you do, if there is some belly fat it won't show the six pack. Best thing after you are already in good shape with a toned body is to do cardio: running, biking, etc. It will come off your waist. That and of course diet as everyone has said. Carbs are important to fuel the workout, but that's about it. more protein, fewer carbs, omegas.
You said a mouthful...pun intended...when you said you're sticking to your carbs. That's your problem.
As a twice deployed special forces sergeant now long in tooth I can tell you how hard it is to lose belly fat.
It's the first to come on board and last to go
And at this point since you're doing everything else right it's strictly your diet.
Oh, and asking out an instructor where you work out and have to see her all the time isn't the smartest thing I've ever heard
Diet is 10 times more important then exercise for weight loss. Calories in calories out. It's still a fact outside of medical issues and small people do need to exercise to help overcome the fact they simply cannot eat less at some point.
The end of belly flab is the last thing to go. You probably need to drop another 20 pounds.

Stomach fat is usually the first to show and the last to go. The only way to eliminate it w/o surgery is thru an overall weight loss/exercise program that incorporates the entire body. Eventually it will reduce but it can't really be targeted. You can definitely work on building and tightening the stomach muscles under the fat, but only a continued regiment of diet & exercise will help eventually lose the fat.
Or at least breads/starches, were the easiest thing I ever gave up. Learn to cook yummy veggies (or fruits) and substitute those...you'll feel like you're treating yourself, and you won't even miss the breads. I mean, when you're eating brussels sprouts with chili paste, spaghetti squash w/tomato sauce, or a kale salad w/pomegranate and pumpkin seed...I guarantee you won't be like, 'Damn, I want a slice of Wonder bread.'
I hate the gym, but I do work out every day (cardio). So long as I stay active, and eat (somewhat) reasonably, I can avoid the dreaded gut. If only I could give up wine, I'd be JACKED (as my workout buddies would say). However, I look fine (just not JACKED...but, I don't really want to be JACKED). When I think of my lifestyle as a whole, it feels healthy, and I don't feel deprived.
Abs/muscles are overrated. I personally prefer to date men who don't spend hours lifting weights and talking about workout stats (which to me, signals vapidity and self-absorption). Which is kind of hypocritical of me, since I do devote a fair amount of time/energy per day (when factoring in travel, prep, etc) to working out.
I love a cute little belly and full-ish cheeks in a guy :
Thank everyone for the great input.
I'm going to try and lower the carbs and see what that does.
As a second step spend less time lifting and more, much more time on endurance training.
Last I looked those who do long-distance running or cycling do not have guts.
Dedicate yourself to marathon-type distance running or Tour de France type cycling.
I have a bit of the same problem. I joined the gym and started working with a trainer this past October. Actually lost close to 50 pounds since last May. Per my trainer every pound of muscle you add will burn an additional 50 calories each day just while at rest. I have noticeably put on some muscle and toned up in most areas though I still need to lose some flab around the mid section. My trainer told me the only way to help that is to eat very lean. Lots of lean meats and leafy greens is what she told me. Well, I've had a bit of a hard time sticking to that but I plan to get on that track soon.
Run. Run. And run again. You'll lose your stomach in no time if you are religious with it. Do not do crunches or any ab exercises until you are burning the calories on a regular basis...consistently. You will only be building muscle "under" fat and you will appear bigger. Tiny tight crunches in excellent form (taught the right way and breathing properly is essential) come "after" you run for a solid month. Then you can start to tighten and tone the abs after the fat begins burning off. The only way to do that tho is high cardio and interval training on a regular basis.
Good luck. You've got this.
Gia
PS. You don't need a gym to help you lose weight. Everything and anything you will ever need to be conditioned is the good old outdoors. Mix it in with a little inspiration always does the trick. Take it outside, even in the winter. And the stairs, are always your best friend.

60 minutes of non-stop, high-intensity cardio in a heated room (about 95 degrees). Some yoga studios call it Inferno Pilates. This will focus on your core (abs and lower back muscles).
10 minutes into class, everyone is drenched in sweat. Everyone. 90% of my classes are women. Nothing is sexier than being surrounded by ladies in yoga attire totally drenched in sweat from vigorous physical activity
Jackknife, burpees, jump squats, side planks, flutter kicks, SEAL kicks, Pilates crunches . . . Rinse, repeat.
I'm a long distance swimmer. This kicks my ass every time! There's a road cyclist in my class. This kicks his ass every time!
Click on the sample video below (this is NOT hot yoga).

Exactly, abs are made in the kitchen. Portion control is so important too.......
If you're exercising regularly and not losing belly fat, it's your diet. Try this for 4 to 6 weeks: no alcohol, no refined sugar, no simple carbs, no high glycemic index veggies, fruit only in the morning. You obviously don't have the high metabolism a mesomorph or ectomorph has so you must eat clean to see those abs. Eat meat/beef, chicken, fish, and complex carbs like green leafy vegatables, green beans etc... Give yourself an occasional "cheat day" if you must but don't overdo it. Once you reach your goal you can gradually reintroduce some pasta, bread, alcohol, and an occasional desert back into your diet in limited quantities. You have to maintain a good diet with an active lifestyle to get lasting results. Eating fat does not make you fat. Consuming SUGAR does. Simple carbs are sugar. They cause a pancreatic insulin release and blood-sugar spikes that provide a quick energy boost and then leave you sluggish and hungry for more crap. Complex carbs keep your blood-suger levels more constant over a longer period so you maintain energy longer and feel hungry less often. You don't get the dramatic insulin release and fat development that you get with sugar/simple carbs. After 4 to 6 weeks you'll either want to keep this up or you'll give up and return to your old habits...but, hey, they say the dad-bod is in vogue these days so... ![]()

...is the first to arrive, and unfortunately, always the last to leave. Bottom line with any weight loss regimen is to consume less calories than you burn. Start with MyFitnessPal.com and find out if what you are eating is the right balance of carbs/protein/sugar/fat. Next you need to build muscle which burns calories faster than non muscle mass. I started a training routine (targeting upper body, core, lower body) about 3 months ago using resistance bands (purchased on Amazon for $53) and cardio (spinning). Results to date are weight loss 7 lbs, waist reduction 2" (long ways from a six pack, but now have a 2 pack), pecks/arms/shoulders/legs definition, energy level way up. I expect that it may take another 12 to 18 months to get close to my goal, which is a flat stomach.
