So, last Wednesday I filled out the online appointment form for an agency in Atlanta, because i'm going to be down there the second week of May and want to see one of their ladies.  I don't get to Atlanta often, and didn't want to take the chance that I would miss out on being able to see this girl, so I figured I'd contact them about 2 1/2 weeks out.  I have a Basic Plus 2 on Pref411, and I gave them 2 good references so I would think I'd be pretty easy to verify.  Well, today is Monday and I still haven't heard anything form the agency.  They appear to be a reputable agency (lost of positive reviews here) so I'm a bit surprised.  Do you think I sent in my appointment request too early?  I've never dealt with an agency before so I don't know what to expect.  Is it too soon to contact them again?

I would shoot them another email or call them up see whats up.

Trust me, I'm not going to waste too much time, lol.  As you mentioned, there are way too many gorgeous ladies down in ATL.  I'm sure you know the feeling though, when you really want to see a particular lady!

I think I'll send them a quick email and see what's up.  Who knows, it's always possible my request didn't go through on their website.

Most agencies don't know what their working girls' schedules are a few days in advance, let alone 2 weeks in advance. Don't even bother contacting for appointments until 2 days out from your desired appointment date at most.

Thanks for the info MSHSEX, I'll keep that in mind from now on.  It's just that I have read many post on here where girls will say there coming in town in a few weeks and are 'pre-booking', etc.  So I thought it might be the same with agencies.

You're describing 2 completely different situations. When working girls go on tour, it's in THEIR best interests to line up dates weeks in advance. That is clearly not the case when YOU go "on tour" to another city.

Try reading the OP post more clearly. He said he won't be in Atlanta until the 2nd week of May. No agency knows the availability of their working girls so far in advance. It's not a question of efficiency. It's a matter of practicality.

Well, I would think a pro agency would just go ahead and pre-screen me, and then send me a message saying something like, "hey you're pre-screened but it's too far out to make an appt, so call a few days before you get to town."

Again this isn't a big deal other than the fact that I only get to ATL a few times a year and don't want to miss out on the fun! lol...

Look at it from the agency's (or working girl's) perspective. Not every client is as conscientious or organized as you are. Why bother going through the trouble of screening clients 2 weeks in advance of a supposed appointment when something could come up between now and then?

Call 2 days at most in advance of your desired appointment time and you'll show that you're a serious client. Anything farther in advance is just a nuisance.

I have a date booked with an agency girl coming up that has been booked for over 2 months. Every lady I have booked with this agency has been over a month out from my date. I also bet that if I so desired I could send my verification info to Zach at 100Proof and he would be able to set me up with one of his ladies at least six week out. So to say that NO agency knows their girls schedule is not even close to correct. There are a lot of agencies that can book for in advance to make up for a clients travel. It is pretty simple. They notify the lady that the client wishes to see, and tell them that there is someone who would like to book them for a certain date. They can then set their schedule accordingly.

I'm definitely in agreement with you 100proof.  You bring up a good point about references possible being on vacation or something and not responding for a little bit.  And I'd think most popular girls might already be booked two days out.

The way your agency works is the exception, rather than the rule. I'm confident that you've had to explain many times why certain working girls were not available on the day of appointment even though they were booked and confirmed 2 weeks prior.

Of course it's simple for any agency to tell clients that the working girl they wish to see is available 2 weeks or more in advance. Whether the appointment actually occurs when the time comes is another thing altogether.

...the agency I use knows no more than one week ahead and they don't screen until you are ready to make the appointment. Others do the same from my experience. Once again it's different strokes for different folks. It's never really safe to say every agency or independent does it "this" way. One thing for sure in the hobby is there is not one thing for sure.

I booked 2 weeks out just recently with 100Proof Zack  took great care of me! You should go to LV instead.

That's great to hear that his agency is able to honor its bookings so far in advance. Still, his agency is the exception, rather than the rule.
