Perhaps you should cure your own ignorance and actually read a book about the history of US intervention in the Middle East.  Your point about religions mandating hatred could easily be made about christianity, but I doubt your mind is agile enough to have considered that.  Hating the US isn't racism but - oh that's right, you're ignorant.

If you're keeping a list of people who piss you off, I'd be more than honored to take first place.  It certainly is much harder for me to keep track of those who hide behind aliases.

It's for our complicated gym equipment

I'm was born and raised in the US and I don't know how to use one of those things either.

Want to know why they hate us?  How about our facile and ignorant racism?

Read the article below.

Nice grammar.

No, the reason they hate us is that they're raised that way by their elders.  Granted, not all hate us.  But those that do, do so b/c their elders and their "religion" mandate it.  That's ignorant racism!

And just so you know, yeah I would have liked the video a lot better had his head bounced off the console of the treadmill!  I was born and raised in the U.S. and I DO know how to use a treadmill!

Oh yeah, I also know how to keep track of those that piss me off.

...Dude, I'm totally up on U.S. and world history, so there's no ignorance on my part.  As far as religion is concerned, let's review and I'll simplify it so you can follow along:

Chritianity = love others as you'd love yourself
RADICAL Islam = hate others who are different from you (again don't lose sight of the word radical)

I'm aware that every religion will have its radical groups that lose sight of what the religion is really about.  And while ultra radical groups like the KKK go around preaching superiority and hatred along racial lines, you don't see too many instances of a klansmen bombing himself just to take out a few innocent victims of another race, or hijacking planes and crashing them into buildings.  Do you know the meaning of the word jihad?  What's the Christian equivalent to it?  Or the Jewish version of it?

But then again, you're missing the big point (big surprise there!).  By linking to the article the way you did in your previous post, you suggest that we're hated b/c of our involvement in Iraq.  Dude, the U.S. has been hated for centuries, and Christians and Jews  have been hated for thousands of years!!!  Linking to an article that discusses what some misguided U.S. soldiers (who by no means represent our armed forces as a whole) have done is shameful on your part.  And extremely ignorant.

BTW, jjackflash WAS my username for over 5 years on this site.  I continue to use it b/c that's what people know me by.  Rest assured, enough people on these boards know who I am!

The Oklahoma City bombing was the work of a Christian Right wing movement.

Anyone that unfairly depicts a religion as being violent or whatever is only making matter worse.

First off, I admitted that all religions had their radical groups that were off the mark.  Which concedes the occassional radical acts like the Oklahoma City bombing.  However, it's not entirely right to classify the Oklahoma City bombing as the work of a Christian Right wing movement.  I do agree with you that this matter would be better off on the P & R Board, but I don't feel as though I "brought this up".  If you'll notice, I merely responded to what I felt was a very ignorant & misguided post by dragonfly.  He replied in a serious way to the original thread, which was intended as humor.  While it may take two to tango (I'm guilty of that), you seem to want to make it a cha cha line by jumping in!

Too funny video...

And I thought it was all about oil and making women walk around with sacks over their heads.
