You can review under an alias..
The only difference is there is no direct link to them.
You have to use the search function on the  my TER tab.

I asked a guy who reviews like that why...
He said it was to weed out the assholes.
That. It can keep the reviews private to people who don't know how to search for them.
Basically weeding out the new, or stupid... I get it...
I like my handle though. Otherwise. I would have done it too

I stopped writing them a couple of years ago now.  So does that make my comments here any less relevant?

And Gambler has NO reviews on his handle...yet he has seen more than a few hookers as well.

I could list a few hundred dudes who don't use the original handle, yet their words are still meaningful...at least to those willing to read them.  So if all that matters to you (and the other alias bashers) is that a handle with many reviews is relevant on a discussion board...that's a YOU problem.

I haven't used an alias on the GD board...but I did use a ton of brown envelopes a few years ago.

That was a blast.

Now that my Les Mis friends have gone on tour...well, I sort of miss them  ;
