I have 3 steady regulars. The only downsides are a) deciding which one I'm in the mood for, and b) only one of them likes to share me with her girlfriend.
If I want something new, there are a few touring agencies that I trust are safe and reliable.
Before the $h!t hit the fan back in April, I created a "to do list" for when none of the above options appeals to me.
If I was really feeling adventurous, I might TOFTT from a massage provider off one of those newer sites, but generally I'm steering clear of anyone who doesn't have an internet history. I'll take my chances that performance doesn't pan out, but I'm much too averse to getting clocked with a sack of pennies by a pimp behind the door to take a chance on a complete no-name.
I have been attempting to try a variety of new ad venues to see which ones will fit better for me as far as the type of clients I enjoy spending my time with.
For me: Adult Look & P411. The other few I have trIed were duds. I will be trying a few news one in October~ Maybe Slixa will rise to the occasion...
I have been having loads of fun just hanging out on VPN on Switter and occassionaly have booked a few ladies from there. Twitter not so much. I have a semi-regular rotation of 3 SB's as well.

Before FOSTA/SESTA. If that qualifies for the Jurassic, so be it. Be careful of the Brontosaurs and Allosaurs, especially the later. They'll eat you alive.
In the Washington DC area Slixa has numerous stale ads, including several of providers who have left the business. It seems they hold onto page content forever, no matter what. Slixa also makes "Washington" the only available location which is ridiculous as the DC-MD-VA area is quite spread out. And their visiting providers listings (Washington via Boston, for example) have about a 50% success rate of that provider actually being in Washington. Again, from a client's perspective, location and availability are crucial items. You don't want to waste your own time, and that of the provider, calling someone who is out of your area or who isn't available currently or in the near future. And, while clients also appreciate knowing the rate structure up front, we understand that some ladies prefer to leave that information for a bit later in the process. But most sites I've seen, and Slixa is only one example, just do a poor job of covering the basics. And that's problematic for both provider and client.

I've been on Twitter since 2009- so a gent REALLY gets to know me... it's been a running diary of sorts with pics/musings and i can put out new packages /availability to followers. Switter is good for traveling or hastening to know who is in a different city...but also has some garbage clients us ladies have to sift through who treat it like a virtual street corner. P411 here in Colorado is now weak for finding clients .(even though it originated and started here) .and when the "Avail Now" section goes away and traveling ads (which helped with visibility) it'll be ugh... I wouldn't touch E^%$ with a 6 foot pole..never did...never will.

This is just names/locations that I've recorded. It's by no means up to date or complete, but it's something. These were all vetted by myself at one point so you can reasonably assume that they're safe and somewhat legit. I only hobby in socal and vegas, so if you're in a different area you're SOL, though, all of the below still applies.
Take a name off the list, google/bing it, and see if they are still active anywhere you should get a good lead. Bing sometimes has better results than google because they filter your results much less than google.
From there, I usually search for the phone number or email that I've discovered to find anything more current (and weed out potential scams). I also look for things like twitter pages and switter pages, because most girls kept their twitter and many moved to the cesspool known as switter (though usually only as a backup to twitter).
A note about switter: It has very, very poor SEO, which means, you won't likely find a listing or profile via google/bing, so you'll need to search for it on switter directly. This is usually my last resort because their search feature is awful and requires a bunch of tinkering to find anything.
From there, you'll either find nothing promising, or you'll find a listing of hers on any number of competing sites that I can't list here because TER would delete it out of supremely salty jealousy.
WHILE YOU'RE DOING ALL OF THIS
Use a condom, and by 'condom', I mean a VPN. I use NORD VPN, but there are plenty of cheap options out there like NORD. The point is, **pay** for one (ya cheap bastard) that gets good ratings and use it. Make sure you're not logged into google or ANYTHING else while searching. I use a separate version of Firefox for all my hobby needs, because it tracks you less and I never log into anything personal with it. You'll also need a burner Twitter account if you plan on interacting with someone via twitter. I used a google voice number to set mine up (because you need a phone number) and it works fine.
If you find anything, I'd suggest keeping a record of who you found even if you aren't going to see them that second. It'll give you something to go off of if more of the listing sites go tits up.
i will be back in Manhattan, NYC in January and i have to find a way to find some nice guys… Where do you place ads over there ? I am not really like to go to Hotels... and i did not know that will be possible...where are the good Hotels ? Do ladies really sit there ? at the bar or lounge or?
...we just loss use of yet another board here in Colorado..(restrictions are making the ladies leave in exodus) ... we won't give our ID's, CC, addresses to local hobbyists owners)...so many of us gravitated to social media (i've been on twitter since 2009).

I've been struggling. There is an agency that I've been using as much as anything else. Maybe 30% of my meeting come from p411. Greek god has provided me with the next level of successful meetings. Several providers with whom I've met otherwise don't use Greek God or have had problems. I heard of a leak or possible raid they experienced within the last 2 years. I guess I need to read up on it.
I just found Private Delights. I have not yet met anyone through it, but 2 providers that I have met through other sources advertise there.
