I've never had such an experience. If I were threatened, I think I'd ignore it- if they don't have any info besides my email address and my provider name, what can they do? and if they're going to turn you in, they're going to do it no matter what you say. It seems interesting that some women would rather blame the woman than face their marital issues- I mean, if I weren't a provider my clients would see someone else! However, it does bother me sometimes when I think about it too hard, in terms of how I would feel in that situation.

The wife of one husband has recently turned to this board trying to understand what motivated her longtime husband to be unfaithful. While highly laudable, such a reaction is uncommon.I know of several incidents(on another board)where an angry wife sent threatening messages to the provider that forced one provider to shut her website down for awhile while another went UTR.
My question to the ladies: Have you had such an experience and how did you handle it.If not, how would you react to a threat to expose you to LE.

Ladies, do you prefer not to know or does it bother you to find out one of your clients is married?  When you find out, do you think less of that client?

Either way, I completely agree with the above posts  that you ladies are professional providers and shouldn't be exposed to the drama in your clients lives.  I was just wondering to what extent you ladies do think about it (us hobbiests).

P.S.  Ana, you are one cool chick!  Love that pic, and your response!

LOL, her response was priceless and so was the pic.

I have no interest in getting involved in someone's marital drama.

Maybe I would ask his name and and then tell her I'm never seeing him again and that I'll warn the other ladies not to see him either.  Why would I want to see a client who is so careless as to let his wife find my name and harrass me?

Maybe I would ignore her.

Maybe I'd tell her she has the worng number.

I don't know untill it happens.
