I usually prefer no music, though I have had my times with the indefatiguably romantic CALL OF THE WILDEST by Louis Prima.

to keep my 'friends' at easy, in the bedroom I usually play Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and other classics.

I tend to find the music can be distracting unless it is really low.

I know my taste in music isn't popular here but I am

listening to Beyonce's Sweet Dreams, and it's really good.  

Rihanna's part Jay-z's who's Run This Town is unbelievable. The rap part of the song just about kills it, but at least Jay-z is doing a benefit for 911 1st responder's windows and kids.

Untouched by the Veronicas is just the kind of song I love. Upbeat, energetic, good lyrics.

Piece of Me Britney is good to listen to when I need to get pysched up. Works great before a bike race.

I have an ipod/speakers that I bring with me.  I have a diverse selection, but tend to put on classic 80's (monster ballads, lol).  I have a selection of Frank Sinatra & Tony Bennett for older gents or just gentle massage music for those that prefer.  

As for when I am exercising, I need heavy rock and roll to get me through the last 10 minutes on the eliptical.

For example, when seeing a gal for a good old fashion banging away session, classic rock is always good, especially a sex related anthem like Foghat's Slow Ride, or any of the Stone's raunchier titles.

But if it's a tantra type session with a lot of slow and quiet touching, then simple Zen style music with Japanese strings is right.

For some reason, a session at an AMP always seems right with 70's era disco in the background.  

Different types of activities call for different types of music.

What I don't want is music that I want to listen too so badly, that it takes my focus off of the session, so no classical, though I do love it.
