Thanks for asking! I chose my name as I roved the Internet, looking for a name no one else had. I came across a poem written by Fiona Macleod that appealed to me. My ancestors are Celtic, and I have always loved poetry, so I chose Fiona M as my new name. I know there are many other ladies with the name "Fiona" but it's not likely they will have chosen to add the M. I chose my very first name, "Amoria" because it meant love in Latin.
I assume all providers use a stage name. Curious as to how it is chosen.

encounter when I was just a little girl...
Tabu of South Florida
When I was a stripper initially I worked at a thong bikini bottom club but was moving to a all nude.
I had been using my legal name but everyone used stage names so I thought I'd reinvent myself for my new work place.
Late Late at night I was watching a Groucho Marx movie. Not sure which one. One of the female character was named ILEA *I-Lea*
But at the club with the loud music playing, for some reason no one could understand when I said my name was I-Lea but could hear UH-Lea *ALEA*
sooooooo... ALEA it became.
As it turns out ALEA (according to people I've met over the years) is many things: A native Hawaiian medicinal herb, a jewish religious offering, and refers to a game of chance in Latin *alea iacta est... the die is cast*
So as LUCK would have it!! a pretty good choice IMHO. *smooch*
This was before the advent of the internet HO.
Now, I got me a nice pad on 47th Street but only do incall and am not on the stroll anymore.
Well, actually I gave a BBBJ to a beat cop late at night.
...... Who worked the corner of 3rd and 47th street.
In those days I was attracted to the rugged, physical types who were not so into using the cover, if you know what I mean.
Kathy was a jewel who often gave me much of her time off of the clock. She use to call my manhood her little Romeo. I guess from that day forward, the name stuck.
Time passed by and I lost touch, but there isn't a day goes by that I don't still think about the good times that we shared.
Little Romeo

Used to be that providers used one name and when they had two, it seemed to me at least that they were more expensive, refined and used titles such as "courtesan," etc. When many of the porn stars transitioned into being providers, the two name syndrome became a lot more common as it is today. I like that some names are well thought out and one good friend uses the partial of her family name. I guess names can be a significant part of a providers persona, but I can't say it attracts me one way or the other. On the other hand, providers with names of cars or gems are a bit of a turn off.
If someone called me Ashley or Bambi...I don't like either ![]()
Anya is a nickname I've had my whole life so I can answer the phone and say, "Hey, this is Anya," without anyone questioning me...

I picked "Carrie" kind of at random when I started, and a few years ago I decided I wanted a "last name" to make myself a little more distinctive. I thought "Hillcrest" went well with it; pretty, different, and easy to remember.
I like to joke that if I'd driven just a little further down 635 that fateful day, I'd have been Carrie TI Blvd instead. ![]()
I doubt that most people not from Dallas will appreciate my joke, but Harry Hines used to be a mecca for SWs. It may still be, I haven't been there in years. lol
It is still, as far as I know. Although apparently there are parts of Northwest Highway that are giving it a run for its money...
that I put an ad on Eros. I looked through the existing ads, wondering which name I could use. Nothing popped out at me and said "this is it". So, I just put a thought out, an intention of sorts, saying "give me something that starts with an "A", and fits me well. And....Alantra it is, and stays.
that's where I got my name from.
