Flying with 'stuff'

They saw the bulge in my pocket (I had it all in $20s.) and asked to see it.

When they saw the cash they asked What gives?

I said that I go to a lot of trunk shows and flea markets and cash is always king and allows me to bargain harder.  I also said that I pay a high premium to use foreign ATMs so I like to get the cash from my bank.  They seemed satisfied and let me go.

Now I carry C notes so no bulge, no hassle.

My credit cards are close to maxed out after the holidays, so I needed cash for the trip.

Approx. $3000 in Benjamin's and sex toys.  I intend to bring the cash as carry-on.  I'm still debating about the toys: carry-on, pack in checked bags or don't bring.  What's your experience or opinion?

Avoid any kind of lubrication since no liquid form is permitted. But, you can put the lubricants in the check bags. I have bought some sex toys on the checked bags, and then before I got on my flight, a security officer stopped me and took me to a back room. He had my checked bag suitcase and told me to open it up like I am smuggling drugs or something. There were like 5 other dudes there with a grin on their face.

I told them what the problem was, they said that they saw two metal long bullet forms in their metal detector and have their suspicion. I said, okay, let me open it and show them. I pulled out two dildos, one was rubber form and had some metal inside of it, and the other was similar. Yes, I was with my SO, and just bought those toys previously on our vacation.

Anyways, those security guards laughed it off and I was on my way. I would recommend carrying it on the carry-on bags. They will still check it. If its check personally, then the person can identify the object and let you move on without hassle. If its checked by a metal detector, you just gotta open it up quickly, and can still be discreet about it to show them, and they'll let you on board without any hassle.

As with the money, yeah, definitely, I carried more on board, and its never an issue. You can definitely fit 3K in your wallet. However, there is a limited amount that is permitted to carry. I think its 10K without proper documentation, because they have their suspicion of money laundering.

Take the batteries out of your toys. Nothing more embarrassing than getting your suitcase off the round about and is buzzing like crazy.

Seems that some have a distorted sense of how "thick" 30 bills actually is...right McDonald?

Now where you're going to "put" those other toys...I can only imagine :)

You can fly domestically with as much money as you want. There are no issues.

If you return to the US with more than $10K, you need tO declare it. There isn't a restriction, just a requirement that you declare more than $10K.

FYI, I am not an attorney. This is not legal advice

With the new full body airport screenings, you must completely empty your pockets. So all cash must go into your carry-on.

it made me giggle both time.  They each started the search by pulling out the contents, then after they realized what the contents were, they stopped and just moved stuff around inside the bag.

I routinely go through those scanners with a wad of cash in my left hand.  I'm not really sure why so many TSA agents want to see my dick, but it happens pretty often.  I even got the extra special frisking a couple months back, and the guy asked if I wanted to go in the back.  I told him that since he was more embarrassed than I was, I would enjoy torturing him out in public.  He just shook his head and chuckled.

I'm flying domestic, not international.  If they ask what the $ is for, what should I say?

That it's none of their fucking business.  If that became problematic, I'd lose the politeness.  Money is legal.  Carrying it is too.

I figured what would be the problem?  I would think they'd recognize them for what they are without the public humiliation of looking someone face to face.  Then I thought, they could steal them.  Unlikely, but I thought I'd discourage it.  I took a cue from our dog trainer.  When we were buying our dog he recommended we buy a collar that says "needs medication" even though it's not true.  The idea being, if the dog gets lost and someone finds it, they'll be less likely to want to keep it and they would likely return it to its owner.  So, I wrote a note in the toy bag that says "I'm HIV + (I'm not).  Please don't steal my sex toys".  Probably a stupid fucking idea 'cuz they'll now incinerate them and leave me notes for being a dirty faggot.  We'll see later tonight.  Cross your fingers for me.

Seriously squeezy...that is not a ton of cash.

But if they ask...I would tell them "I"m fucking a bunch of hotties in Florida...and it costs around $ 3k".

That should get a chuckle!

with over $6K in my carry on and a full array of toys several times with no issues. Legally, they can't do anything as long as it's domestic travel and you're carrying less than $10K in cash. International has different rules of which I'm not completely certain. The toys are your own business unless you're bringing something crazy they can claim is a weapon.

Mmm...$3K in cash and a bag full of toys. You are my dream boy!

Many kisses,

Veronica Sweets

$ and toys made it no questions asked.  However, 1st date missed due to late plane take-off.  Fuck!  Well, there's plenty of make-up time in the schedule. ;)

but since I was leaving Las Vegas on a domestic flight it never even raised an eyebrow.

My advice to any one traveling with any large sums of cash, is number one, don't sweat it. Number two, if asked why you are carrying so much cash, simply say you are either headed to or coming from a casino. You can hardly find anywhere in the country further than a few hundred miles from a casino nowadays, so the cover story will work virtually every where.
