i started wondering how someone gets the job of being a provider's booker. or is this too shady of a question to ask? it's not like i'm looking for job, i'm just curious. what's the pay like? what are the risks? what are the pros and cons, basically.

but I can think of a couple examples where a provider has morphed into a booker.  Seems that would be a common source, semi-retirement or full retire to booker.  You'd have the connections on the clientelle side and lots of accumulated wisdom to help the new providers.  Someone with more knowledge and experience can correct me though :p

how to males become bookers for female providers?

It's a lady's personal assistant. I've used 2 ladies in the past. Both were retired providers that came my way by word of mouth from our community. They've seen it all and heard it all already and are very trust worthy. Seems like an impossible find, but it's not. Loved having one and probably will again when I start school in the Fall.

The personal assistant is paid by ME. She does not take a "cut" of my earnings. She screens to my standards and I make all decisions associated with dates, correspondence, scheduling, etc. Nothing pimp about it. I just have more time to get my mani/pedi and pay more attention to my lovely dates :)

Kisses,

Veronica Sweets

I know a girl whose booker is a male.  He's a former monger, which is how he learned about screening.  He books and screens for her.

At least that was the career path of this old dude in a town near me. He got to know a few escorts from driving them to outcalls, then started as their booker. One day, he accidentally shot off a gun he was carrying in his back pocket and injured himself so badly he couldn't drive his cab anymore. So, he continued as a 'hooker booker' from the comfort of his home. Not sure how typical that is.

Dear Veronica:
I was just wondering since you have the prerequisite of picking those who are retired providers, would they have a since of what how you would verify and what you would want in a session? If so how close would they be in making the initial selections although you have the final decision? Also since they were former providers, how good are their inclinations in eliminating some guys and when do they come and ask you certain questions during the verification process regarding a client that might be somewhat borderline? I am sure these are extremely critical roles within their duties and items that they would come across when completing this phase of the job.

Can you answer a question for me?  Why do I continually ask stupid questions?

I've just read this back and forth from everyone regarding a Booker and Pimp scenario and I have to say that it's been quite entertaining. The first thing that needs to be mentioned is that you have to recognize the difference between a Booker and an assistant.

I work with what I think is the absolute best assistant service in the business and I've personally referred them to other providers and they have ALL told me they feel the exact same way.

They have not only organized my day to day work schedule but they have also increased my income by 60% and trust me when I tell you that is no exaggeration at all.

Learn the difference people and keep in mind that in this business the most successful of us realize that we can NOT do it alone.

Take care!
