Yeah, sorry for making one of these type posts, but I did a search and did not found recent information.

I've been buying and using a MasterCard giftcard registered through Giftcardbalance for my TER membership in order to maintain a moderate amount of  payment anonymity.  It's that time again and it seems those specific cards are now nowhere to be found by me.

All I can find after visiting card shops, pharmacies, grocery stores, etc are Visa cards to be registered through Vanilla, Giftcardmall, or Gift2go.  Old posts indicated the Vanilla and Giftcardmall cards would not work although there was a suggestion Vanilla might work now.

I'd prefer to get some recent info from real world use and would appreciate hearing which giftcard & registration service has recently worked successfully.

Thanks

I think any debit card that you would get from a bank that is preloaded with the money would work fine.  My bank charges $4.90 and you can put up to $500 on their cards.

I have used Vanilla for the same things and have no issue. Also wallMart, cvsand  turkey hill all have www.allaccessgiftcards.com visit the site and  put in you zip code and you will find a dealer near you.Hope this helps.

I use a regular credit card...  from a rarely used account.  I only get statements if I use that card...  I pay it immediately & destroy the statement.

Even if have the card, it is on your credit report, and the high balance will still be reported to the credit bureau.   I would never use a credit card that is in my name for anything like TER since it is still linked to yourself.

Using a prepaid is the only way to go.

...and TER uses CC-BILL EU.

I've had good results with Green Dot and Gift2Go.

I find it better to go to the post office and get the money order and mail it to the netherlands.

You are SOL if its lost in the mail but I doubt that is likely.

Makes sense.  I purchased a vanilla yesterday and have not been able to use it with TER/CCbill.
