It's hard to imagine what they'll get from this raid other than information about specific people involved in their "investigation".  This is ALWAYS politically motivated.  The VAST majority of people don't give a damn about escorts unless they have street-walkers in their neighborhood.  Escorts.com and related sites must have pissed someone off, hence the raid.  It's all B.S. and a waste of taxpayer money.

Yes let's be reasonable and not "assume" it's all about our industry.

Escorts.com was just one site of MANY. Unless CBS has an inside leak, they are speculating. Well if you're going to spin speculation who are you going to choose, the porn industry who has very competent aggressive lawyers or us ? I don't see some legal team coming out of the blue to defend the industry honor  from speculation with no corroborating quote in the press release ?

Can the police actually refuse you the right to know why they are searching your business or home?

Prostitution is a misdemeanor and as such not really worth a ton of LE attention.  I've noticed that whenever there is a "prostitution ring" shut down that ring is linked to something uglier.  For instance, a bunch of strip clubs were shut down in Seattle due to "prostitution" but what wasn't highlighted in the report was that the clubs were owned by the local crime boss and the bust was more about him than the actual activity of the clubs.  I expect to see something similar here when more info is available.
