100% agree with you regarding Twitter.

I not only use Twitter to perform more due diligence on a provider I have not met before, but I also use it keep up with some of my favorite providers; and I especially like the selfies that they often post.

Not too long ago, I read a review that said, "I met [her] on Twitter, which is fast becoming the best place to find high end providers."

Do others agree?  Are you having any success?  How does that work?  Do you just hit up anybody that sounds like she's soliciting hobbyists?

In the reverse direction, I've linked from TER or personal websites to Twitter feeds but how do you search and go in the Twitter -to- TER direction

I've not yet seen anyone I found through Twitter, but if you find a provider with a good Twitter feed you can follow conversations to find other providers.

I think it provides a lot more interesting insight into how the women think than any of the glacially updated "blogs" or bios on providers websites.

Also of note, some people also have hobbying Twitter accounts (which you need in some cases to follow people with private accounts and of course to PM)

Too risky for mongers to be out there like that...

Its about time that Twitter bans hookers, like Linkedin banned them earlier in the year.

I checked a number of ladies links out and was shocked with the openness of naked pictures. Twitter is family so all accounts with naughty stuff should be locked and private.

Used right I think Twitter is a fantastic tool. TER ad boards and other websites are one dimensional and static. Twitter gives you a sense in real time what a provider is all about. Their personality, what interests them, their sense of humor, etc. Some will also post pics, which don't necessarily have to be nudes or graphic. I've got a hobby account that I use to interact with providers that I follow, but don't use it to make dates or even discuss anything hobby related. For that I still use TER and P411. And yes, I have booked dates with ladies I've met on Twitter. And they were great because I already had a great sense for what they were like and I knew they were a great fit.

And again, don't need to be nude or graphic or even all that sexy....just something that shows me you're a real person.  I love it!!

when comes to my mongering. So is TER becoming Old School now? Amazing how times change.

I'll stick to my constantly updated blog if people want to know what I'm up to/thinking :

Their whole focus is to share information with as many people as they can possibly hook you up to, using the most privacy-invasive means.

We need this?

Add to that the fact that kids are the main users of SM and you've got a prescription for disaster on your hands.

You can barely pick up a newspaper (I know, what's that?) without reading of some bigwig getting undone by SM stupidity.

Let's not follow them.

Be discreet and safe.  Don't let convenience dictate how we act.

I'm not a fan of Facebook or social media. It just entails to much personal info. Now if you mix that plus your business it seems like a total trainwreck. Then before you know you know it you're family and friends get involved in your outside activities. Just seems to risky.

still not a lawyer....

but still usually wise

But I did just start a blog, if only because I need a place to actually collect thoughts. There's a very intertwined sex worker community on Tumblr, so I've chosen that platform to not only talk about me, but to talk to others. I've even made some great friends from it.
