background: I met this FBSM provider over a year ago. Saw her maybe a half dozen times before I decided I didn't like the arrangement she had with her housemates... Then I found out she got her own place so I gave her a call and we had a few good sessions. ...She's just my type, a spinner FBSM provider who will throw in a little GFE when she's feeling it.

 
Then I called several weeks ago and made an appointment a few days out. The night before, she cancels because she's sick. I wait a week and reschedule, but now she's taking a vacation. I wait a few weeks and try again...Taking another trip. Another week and I try again. My schedule was pretty tight so I asked for a response by the next day...this time no response at all.

 
Just curious, who would try again and who would assume they're being ghosted? Providers, does the above scenario suggest she's decided "we're not a good match"?

You've made enough attempts to contact her and things haven't worked out. My assumption would be that she's moved on and that if she wants to make some sort of connection in the future, it's now up to her.

Find another playmate with whom to console yourself.

Some guys just can't take a hint, no wonder women ghost on them. It's got to be easier than to constantly being asked "WHY" don't you want to see me anymore. Her reasons don't really matter, all that matters is that she is sending him a message that clearly he is not receiving.

It's actually four strikes. One, when she was sick, two when she was on vacation, three when she was on a trip and four when she didn't respond.  

In any case, he should take the hint and move on. It's kind of pathetic when a guy begs to pay for pussy.

Maybe he gave her a foul (smelling) tip at their last meeting. Maybe, the last time, he thought he was heading for home base but she wanted to hold him to a double (second base) - or the other way around!

If she moved out to a new place without roommates, she might have come into some money in the form of a sugar daddy. That might be affecting her availability or the need to be available to others.

A foul tip with two strikes already on the batter, as long as it ends up in the catchers mitt, (if not caught by the catcher it is no longer a "foul tip" but a foul ball and the "at bat" continues)  is most definitely strike three and a strike out at every level of baseball.

 
A "foul ball" OTOH is NOT a third strike and does not result in a strike out if caught by a defensive player, but the result is called a "foul out" I am sure we can have all sorts of fun with the verbiage, but lets try to keep our facts straight.

With or without manscaping, he could have presented two gamey, foul balls. If she was the umpire, she could even have called him out on just those two strikes (or ejected him from her game ... which she seems to have done).

I have known several very popular girls that periodically purge part of their customer list to make room for more desirable customers  (Not saying you're not desirable in general, but perhaps not her type).  Several have told me that first to go are non-tippers and guys booking shorter sessions.  Another factor, and this has happened to me, very young providers just feel awkward with guys that could be, or nearly be, their grandfathers.  I think its awkward, too, and I consciously avoid girls under 30, but sometimes I slip up or else a friend will tell me she's really good with older guys.  Naturally, they are not going to tell you the reasons you have been "cut" from the team.  This is speculation, but is another possible reason she won't respond.  If it is this, take heart that its purely a business decision and not personal.  OTOH, if you wiped your dick on her curtains, THAT'S personal to most providers.

OK, so I held back the final chapter from my OP.  

I did indeed try one more time. This time she did respond, set an appointment, and kept it. It started off like all my other massage appointments with her. Then about half way through she whispered "do you want me to go get a condom?"  

 
Maybe she was especially horny that morning, maybe she was rewarding my persistence. Either way, she's definitely moved up at least one spot in my rotation.

Well, that's not really the REST of the story, as we didn't hear the reason why she gave you no response to your multiple inquiries that made you think you might have been ghosted. Did you ask her what was up with the multiple no-replies?

Really only one NO REPLY.
She probably was sick. She was on vacation and let me know.  
The only no-reply was when I gave her a drop-dead deadline of a need-to-know because my schedule was tight. No I didn't ask her why she didn't respond to that request with a simple UNAVAILABLE.  

The thought of being ghosted really was pretty far back in my mind. I just used the the question to see what kind of responses I would get. We already had the "rest of the story" session before my OP.

As for her "moving up in your rotation" the only thing you have accomplished IMHO at least, is proven to her that she can treat you any way she wants to and that you will still keep coming back for more.

 
One thing I would like you (and others) to think about. Have you ever noticed that some guys ALWAYS are having shit like this happening to them, and other guys NEVER seem to go through this type of thing? Do you really think it's just "luck of the draw" that determines this?

 
and one last final thought (yeah right. lol) about your situation with her. I think most of us see hookers because they are a "sure thing", why are you letting a woman who is charging you for her time dictate not only "when" she fucks you, but "if" she fucks you to boot? That sounds a lot more like most guys home lives around here, not their mongering lives.

They are mostly (except for the handful of divas) preconditioned to have sex with you on YOUR schedule, not theirs.  With most civvie women, its on HER schedule . . . . . or not at all.  Lol

 
I agree you can't be a doormat.  Women will treat how YOU LET them treat you.  I think a lot of guys get stuck in being the doormat while they're married, and it takes a while to realize when you're paying, you don't have to be that guy anymore.  Seeing hot younger women (even though you're paying) builds confidence and boosts egos.
