I've only had a few bad girls since doing this the last few years and only one I felt truly ripped me off, but now I want to be aware of the common scams and what to look for. The ones I've read about (and they may not actually be scams but misunderstandings) are:

I really haven't had a bad session or been ripped off. Read the reviews and pick and choose well reviewed girls with more than a few reviews. Or at the very least a review from an established reviewer. It will cost more probably but great sessions are better than average ones or getting ripped off. I look at it this way, if I get a cheaper donation stolen once out of every 4 or 5 appointments it covers the cost of a better reviewed lady. Not to mention the other risks associated with someone who is unprofessional. Don't think that someone without ethics, who upsells, uses fake pics, provides poor service or rips people off won't use everything they can to avoid prosecution. Including giving out your information or setting up a sting. Not saying it wouldn't or can't happen with any escort but just more likely with ones already misleading you.  
      For me the rewards outweigh the cost of paying for highly reviewed women.  
      To answer your original question- read reviews, use google image search, back channel her reviewers if you want (they may tell you things not in their review) and avoid the newest posters on BP until they actually have reviews. All of these will help you avoid LE as well. If a lady talks about specific acts and money before meeting unless she has a long list of reviews and a great history I won't even consider seeing her.

Well, maybe you're not understanding, but everything was perfectly fine until she took the money. So it didn't matter whether I was worried, it matters that I got ripped off. So actually I should have been so worried that I didn't even call her.

My post ended with some SOLID advice. I'm not a newbie and I've avoided getting ripped off for over a decade but you can ignore the advice and chastise ME if you must.
